This is primarily an information thread rather than discussion. Please do not fill up the first 6 pages with 'in for an update' or 'reserved'. Also avail yourself of the several other Dirtbag related threads if you just want to shoot the breeze or have an uncontrollable urge to quote a vast swathe of text.Currently this is the place for Catcher Cup info and scores. catcherman22 out of the goodness of his heart, finds time to organise and collate our side-line competition. He doesn't have to but I, amongst many others, greatly appreciate that he does. It will also serve the same purpose for any short term offshoot projects we might indulge in. This season will run alongside our Dirtbag Team and Individual Competitions. We discussed how it might be changed for the better and have come up with four more balanced divisions. I'm sure the captains particularly will have a more competitive time this season. It will also greatly appeal to many of you as it requires the square root of bugger all effort. Just play your normal Dirtbag rounds and the scoring fairies will magic everything onto scoresheets. You don't need to tag him as he will get the scores from our normal scoreboard and any that go astray I will Liam Neeson them. If we are nice then we will get regular updates from Catcherman and it will add another competition to our regular events. This is primarily an information thread rather than discussion.

We're Back for Season 9! Groups and BracketThis season honeybadger64 helped me split the groups to make it more balanced. As such, we are playing the weeks as listed on the site (Round 1 is week 1 etc). Also a bit different on the scoring this time round. In each week, you are playing 5 "matches" against your opponent. Each round will be a match, and then the final score. Example: Marc and Leon play in week 1. Marc's round 1 score vs Leon's round 1 score is a "match", Their round 2 scores are a match etc. The final score is also a match. This should keep things more interesting throughout the tournament. You don't need to do anything different... I'll pull everything from the google doc... just post you scores to Greg in the dirtbag thread like normal

It's kinda like how the NFL always has a star studded matchup week 1!

It's kinda like how the NFL always has a star studded matchup week 1! Man, it's a a gauntlet trying to advance to the group stage. I think the only one in my group that isn't on a Pro tour is Wes (I could be mistaken) and he's the one that handed me my only loss in the last Catcher Cup. Absolutely brutal... but I'm really looking forward to the challenge!

Hang on, if this is a mind game to take it easy on you then it nearly worked 😁 The website that Dan has made just for this is brilliant- thank you

"You don't need to do anything different... I'll pull everything from the google doc... just post you scores to Greg in the dirtbag thread like normal" was what Catcherman said. The screenshots were only required in the knockout match play after the league season end Leon . And congratulations, you have one of a possible five points from this weeks match.

I think I'm reading this right The number beside your name is the amount of rounds won, any draws don't get added to this number hence there's no half points. The box is coloured orange for the player with the lowest overall score and they win that match. For example in week 2 Andrew and me both won 2 rounds each but Andrew had the lowest score so his score box is orange and he is awarded the win.
