Hi guys,
so I’m looking to do a new LiDAR course but am having trouble when I am processing the LiDAR and get this error code when the program starts to “generate lidar intensity image”. At this step it normally brings up the step to draw a box around the area of focus out of the files we have processed.
this is the error code it spits out
Exception in Tkinter callback Traceback (most recent call last): File “tgc_gui.py”, line 352, in runLidar File “lidar_map_api.py”, line 246, in generate_lidar_previews File “site-packages\numpy\core\numeric.py”, line 309, in full MemoryError
Any help would be great in overcoming this issue.
Cheers,
Rod

Thanks for the reply Yeltz, I’m thinking it’s basic and it’s like a setting has changed on my PC that isn’t allowing the generation of the lidar intensity image because maybe it acts like a pop up and maybe there’s a setting I have to change potentially, I was using version 2.2 still of Chads Tools and I updated to the latest 3.0 and it still is doing the same thing so I’m stumped, pop ups are allowed on my PC and I can’t find anything to suggest something has changed, hopefully Chad gets back to my DM on here or one of the other folk can point me in the right direction. Happy to help out with some OSM work for you mate so let me know if you need anything done as I’m lol across that process. Stay safe and good to hear from you pal.

Cheers, Rod Like Yeltzman I wish I could help, but i have never seen that particular error before (seen many others however lol). Good luck getting Chad to respond - I donate $5.00 a month to his GitHub account and I have never heard from him. I think he is pretty busy actually working for a living :)

There is also a newer version now available Rod,which allows you to change the size of the import trees,Don't think it would solve your problem maybe its just a certain course problem, only just learned on the UK site that sometimes you need to imput a 5 digit number for it to work, that way not so sure the data is so good,Only really found good data round the coast so far,but lucky there are enough courses to keep me sane whilst in lockdown.
No idea but surely if you were HB you would have taken on Chad or is programme for future games, the amount of real courses what HB could produce without including a designer is endless. Then added charges for courses for HB and 2k.

Saying that i don't think Chad could be on the payroll at HB,because if he was he wouldn't have released HB theme's over xmas,So my talk seems a long way off.Just blaming the Lock down its driving me crazy.

Update
I tried an old lidar file and it processed as normal so I have redownloaded the files I was after that weren’t working and I’ve got it going so they must have been corrupted or something, anyways good news and I’ve got what I was after
