I have a course I plan to publish Tuesday. The Virgin is it’s working name as it is my first design and I learned as a went. Also like to quickly thank crazy Canuck who helped me with getting started (sure wished I watched them all beforehand). Par 72 around 7600 from the tips. The stock 4,4,10 option. Boreal lots of trees and plenty of water. I will attempt to get some crappy iPhone pics for you to see but when I publish my son will do it all properly from screenshots on the PS4 to his twitch account and so on.

Try this again. I accidentally posted my entire library of photos on iCloud. share.icloud.com/photos/0RmPcnqAKWp3i0hvvSLwtaY6wI think it worked. Quick summary. FYI. Conditions are all in the middle. Normal fairway, roll, green firmness and 144 speed. Sun is at 12 o’clock. Might change lighting slightly but sticking with the rest as it was designed to be slower. 1) the 12th hole. Only put it in cause the grass is gone. Sculpted hills down one side if the plot. Covered it multiple grasses. Looked beautiful until you were 50-100 yards away and it disappears. Not to mention my planting meter. All gone now. Rookie mistake. Lots of pine trees along 12 - 14. Challenging holes as well. Too bad. 2) the 2nd green. A little downhill. Easy hole. 3) par 5 8th. Love this hole though not thrilled how it looks in the pic. Fairway runs away towards the water and you will be lucky not to end up behind the huge maple. And if you cannot put lots of spin on your 3rd with a pitch or flop forget about birdie. 4) and 5) The drivable 10th. Ignore the ugly cart oath placement it will be fixed. Green is bigger than fairway. I like to encourage intruders. Or at least have them lean towards the big stick. The option is there to hit it 225 yards and have a lob or sand wedge in. 6) the obligatory anti climactic cheesy island green. As this is my first design I couldn’t resist. Only green I used a brush. Sorry if you can’t or don’t want to access the pics. When my older contacts me today I will try and have him post them without a link. But he is 23 and not happy with this isolation and distancing. That said I hope everyone here from wherever you are are healthy and safe. Thanks to everyone doing their part. And thank you TGCT for helping me keep sane. I am self employed which means I’m now unemployed. I am prepared for that so I really am just stir crazy.

Thank you very much eichel. If anyone has any last minute tips that would be great. I could publish it now probably I am just play testing over and over and I keep finding little things to tweak. Again thanks man. Plus I can’t think of a name. It’s very green with lots of pines but those two words are very popular. Green Pines GC 🤢. Plus Old Rasputin is in my top five favs ever and I don’t want to use the word green.

Id play with the lighting a little bit, maybe turn it down a notch, but if you designed the whole course at noon lightning you might be better off keeping it. Play around with it a little and see what a difference it can make.

I did play with the lighting. I like the results. Sun is lower and a better position in the sky. Was trying to avoid shadows but I like the look. Trees shadows only come into play on three holes and two are evergreens. 17 has a auto generated clump of trees that may annoy but I doubt a reviewer will get that far.😉 The greens really show off their break now which is pleasing and you can see tree outline shadows all over the course which makes sense for a heavily tree’d course.

The Virgin is not the Virgin now. Completely ready for publishing.
Atikaki Park GC will open Saturday, April 18th to the public.
I really wanted to do a nice ad on the published thread but I am console illiterate. I don’t know where the screen shots go and I keep getting error messages. If anyone has some spare time to help me out it would be great. Maybe when I publish it someone could take some screenshots and put them in my thread. I’ll do a good introduction to the course tomorrow just loses a lot without visual aides.

The easiest way I found to get screen shots on here was to first download the Twitter app on your phone (iPhone) and make a new account. Then go onto your console (Xbox), go to the Twitter app on there and sign into the account from your console.
You can then send screenshots directly to your Twitter account. Go into it on your phone, the screenshot should pop up. Hold down on the picture until the little menu pops up to open in safari. In safari, hold down on the picture again and copy it.
Then open this forum, start your post (make sure you go to the bottom of the screen and change to desktop view). Above the text box for the post, select the image icon and hit paste in the URL line. Then select insert picture and you should be good to go.
I’m guessing it’s pretty similar for other smart phones and PS4 but I’m only sure of how it works for iPhone and Xbox

Thanks. I’ve been up all night going over all the new guidelines and I don’t think I have any issues. I have the iPhone but a PS4. Tomorrow I’ll follow your instructions but I have to quit for the night.

Going to publish anyways and tackle the pics later. I’ll have quite a back story and review but no pics🤨

PS4 and I have two other designs started but early days. My PC needs a couple parts so it’s off to Memory Express soon. But a few hundred for the PC and last time I looked the game was 80 bucks on steam. Got my console version for 30. I have linked to my Twitter account and the instructions are bang on. When I hit paste an address pops in the URL but an empty thumbnail appears. I plan on attempting this a little later today as my 15 year old wants his console back and I want to take some better screenshots.
