Lucky for you all, I don't have a fictional story for this course, nor even a WIP thread or a proper plan for how it came to be. This course was literally made in a straight 24-hour period as part of the 24-hour design challenge that I took part in with mayday_golf83 , a crazy (but fun) idea where we would click the "Start New Design" button at 8pm on a Friday night and then click the "Publish Course" button at 8pm on Saturday. I can't thank the chat in our Twitch stream enough for keeping us entertained and taking part in the challenge with us. The name for the course even came from a couple guys in the chat, Mike & Curtis, which was a big help because I didn't have any time to really plan that part. I suppose Beaver Lodge Golf Club is a Pacific Northwest course based on the topography and planting style, with wide fairways, some frustratingly placed bunkers, and undulating but mostly forgiving greens. This course isn't designed to be hard overall, only playing a little over 7,200 yards from the tips, so hopefully it can be enjoyed by players of all clubsets and abilities in the game. As usual with any VctryLnSprts publish, karma4u is always given a lifetime membership to the course for free because of the fantastic marketing material he makes. I think jimgem and Avakrac need to be added to that category too for their awesome video work! Enjoy the course, and just let the DAM goats around the clubhouse know if you need anything during your stay.

Thanks VctryLnSprts, both you and mayday91283 did a cracking stand up or should i say a cracking sit down job of those two courses in 24hours. It was absolutely awesome watching you two at the same time designing, hands down by far the best design stream I've had the pleasure of watching. Keep up the awesome work lads.

Thanks David!
I can only speak for myself, but I didn't do a lot of preparation except thinking through which themes I would use knowing what backgrounds and plants were going to be included because some were better than others for this purpose IMO. Other than that the only preparation was stocking up on energy drink and having a basic 'vision' in mind so that I could route quickly once I created the plot.
By no means do I think this is a great course or even a top 3 in my catalogue, but I am definitely happy with what I accomplished in the time allotted, and happy that we accomplished our goal of making courses acceptable to the tour database.
I'll be returning to my 120-hour ways now! LOL

Really good course eric. Only gripe was lighting package mate. On my ps5 on dawn it was just black all over mate which spoilt it a bit for me mate. Struggled to see how far to take putter back as my putter is black aswell. Views and playability are great when u can see it but is really really dark which is a real shame. Im gonna play it again tho and set it to clear or midday

Oh man, I’m really sorry about that. Thank you for playing it, I’m not sure what happened there. Was that on default time of day?
