Disappointing week for me all around. I never felt comfortable on the course, made a lot of poor decisions, couldn't putt when I finally left myself some chances, and just couldn't figure out the greens. I lost track of the number of putts that I just slid by the hole. My 2 eagle chances I slammed the putts and had them bounce out. Finished up a little bit more respectable in the final two rounds, but nothing that will challenge.
Medium to medium-strong winds most of the rounds. Green speeds were again varied with 163, 187, 163, and 144.
-8 -9 -12 -13 ------ -42
I've had a goal of being in the top 10 for every tournament I play in. I think that might come to an end here this week.
Hope you all fair better than I did.

Any chance we can play this one as an 18 hole tournament instead of 72? I'm 4 strokes up on yaters at -12 right now and having to play another 54 holes is most likely going to ruin this chance to finish ahead of him just once.

I felt the first round was toughest - you should be just fine! I still have to average -10 a round just to tie you. That's no cakewalk and I'm usually not that consistent and tend to throw a stinker up there. This was a rare round where I was putting my approach shots about 10ft out more often than not. My putting only had to be good to put up a decent score instead of great. It was nice and I hope to do it that way more often.

Some of them on downslopes so the ball would intentionally go past the hole
Shot an opening round -13 and then -10. I don't know if I can get to -50 but will give it a shot.

I'm so not used to playing with any pressure on me at all, but even with just playing for fun it's hard not to look at the leaderboard and see that the opportunity is there for me to do something better than just crack into the top 10. At this point I'm almost hoping I blow it in round 2 so I can just sit back and relax in rounds 3 and 4.

I know...I was trying to get in his head a little if he shot slightly less better in round 2. Thanks a lot Tim!!

Sean played poorly too with a -17 first round. He might not even finish up this week.

-6 in round 2. Two bogeys including a stinker on 18 where I managed to miss a 5 ft. par putt. Two other holes where a birdie putt rimmed the edge and stayed out. Two more holes where I made a birdie putt I had no right to make. Means I probably should have finished -8 and those 2 shots wasted should be enough to put me in no pressure mode the rest of the way.

Sean played poorly too with a -17 first round. He might not even finish up this week. I did miss my very first putt, a 7-8 footer! It's actually really hard not to rage at that point!! I'm practicing R2, and yeah, the pins are brutal. Not looking forward to it. Gonna need some putting and chip in luck for sure.
boffo Nice shooting in R1!. Even after R2 you're still ahead of yaters !

-28 after 3 rounds. -8 in R1, Couldn't figure out if the fairway side slopes would do anything or not. Followed that up with a -9 and -11, had better luck holing 25+ foot putts than 8 footers. Guess I'll play for a top 20 this week.

-11 in R4, missed a few birdie putts after close approach shots so had to make do with -39. Looking forward to Magnolia next week.
Good luck those still to finish.

Round 3 was not my friend as I finished -4. Not much more to say than that.

Not many positives for me in this tourney, I did have an albatross on #16 in Rd 3.
