I am almost finished with this course. I have been working on it for months and although it has been a labor of love, I'm starting to get tired of looking at it. It's my own fault as I have been putting off finishing the heavy rough/light rough edging as I wanted to avoid the squigly lines. (You will notice I have not finished the heavy rough edges after hole 13 or so, so it looks a little shabby there.)
I'm looking for some players to give me some feedback. Good, bad, whatever. I don't plan on making a ton of big changes at this point, but if you find things that stand out that make the course unplayable as far as pins or places you find your ball that make it unplayable, please let me know. And any feedback good or bad I can also use towards my next course.
I have been designing courses since TGC1 but have only recently learned techniques from other designers thanks to youtube and twitch. Before that I was basically teaching myself and everything was very rough around the edges. I feel I am starting to get better with this one. I even found myself wanting to correct things I did earlier in the project once I found out some new techniques but I would be spending all year on this if I kept doing that.
The greens are set on very fast just for designing purposes, feel free to change them if you'd like, but I feel they play fine at that speed. I will likely be setting them around 175 or so. Feel free to play any tee and any pin setting so I can get some opinions on those as well. They are set up to go from eastiest to hardest 1-4. I feel the course is overall fairly easy, but let me know. Thanks so much!
