Should be able to use the sharp square blue brush with landscape raise... should keep all the contouring, no?

Should be able to use the sharp square blue brush with landscape raise... should keep all the contouring, no? You are correctamundo Ryan, that does raise all the terrain. Two things to be aware of though: I raised the terrain 600+ feet and you could still see a lot of backdrop. I even switched to highlands theme, but you could still see the ocean. Secondly, do this raising before you put in any buildings, benches, signs, golf carts, etc. as they stay at the original level. Grass planting that I did, where I did not do any height adjustment, moved up just fine but I don't know about trees or bushes where you adjust the size or elevation. In any event I am leaving everything the way it was on this one.

Really enjoyed the beta, thought the 13thpin was a little close to the ridge for over a 200 yard shot, also the 15th was on a bit of yellow (all pin set 1) Apart from that Stunning course really enjoyed thought it looked great on screen. No uploads on xbox at the moment shot 6 under with a double bogey at 13th.

Thanks Mr. Yeltzman as always. Somebody else pointed out the pin on #15. I do not know what is going on - before I released the beta I checked every pin on every hole at 187 green speed and they were all fine. Then I got a PM saying that #1 and #15 had yellow pins on set 1. He was correct even though he had played the default 171 speed. I have already corrected those two, and before I release the final I will check them again, but I do not know what else to do.

I have found these days if you play the course in the designer it does not pick up the yellow lines. If you play it through local play unpublished courses it does show them up(sometimes its all down to angle of view as well).I thought the 15th was borderline to be honest only a bit of yellow, a couple of tough pins on a real course no harm really if you playing with grids.Found the 13th more tricky with the pin just over the ridge from 200 yards but again i should not complain too much,on xbox the 13th was ranked hardest hole with 15th 3rd if that really makes any difference,Fantastic course i really enjoyed had a shinnecock Hills look/ feel about it to me.

I haven't had any issues with finding illegal pins in the designer...provided you know how to look for them. Maybe I have just been lucky and not had the mysterious yellow green grid issue.
'Illegal' pins that people miss generally only show yellow green grid from one or two specific angles, so if you think a pin is close the best way to check for it is to play test and putt the ball to check every 20 degrees or so. Once you make it to 90 degrees in small increments and there's still no yellow slopes, you should be good.
