Very engaging and challenging course but I got frustratingly exhausted hitting decent shots to within 12ft. or so and having to almost swivel dead sideways to allow for what felt like 12ft. of break. Winner will get to -50.

A couple of 2nd's in Euro lately has me up here, well for 3 weeks anyway An average round of -10/11 in Euro will usually earn you a promo mark where as here, it will mean your cut watching
1st round - 2 played awful, missed everything, not how i imagined making my debut 2nd round - 13 Conditions were a lot easier, certainly played more relaxed
So a missed cut to start and probably a double demotion mark, the girl got to do better

A pair of crap -7s See ya next week. I’m expecting nothing better. Going in now... just doesn’t suit my eye this course, nice as it is. As James mentioned... a lot of 2p landing zones and big bendy putts.

Love being rewarded with my awesome ball striking with 6 footers that break 4 feet or go 15 feet past the hole if I miss.
Actually started well. Was -27 thru 2 rounds and -8 thru my first 10 holes on Saturday. I then putted a 5 footer off the green on 11 that I tapped and made bogey. I then literally couldn't even swing on 12 tee. The frame rate on some of the holes here were so incredibly bad. I quit my entire game hoping it was a glitch but I got back and still had the worst input lag I've ever had trying to swing on this game. Got a slow very slow and missed the green by 30 yards. Anyone else have this? Only made 3 birdies coming in and patience started wearing thin.
Round 4 was FUN.
Started great in round 4 with 3 birdies on the first 4 holes and then the pin location on 5 struck. I was 14 yards short of the green in 2 on the par 5. My chip barely rolled past the hole and then went 30 feet down the hill. My putt back went about 4 feet by. My putt for par broke at least 4 feet from 4 feet away, barely missed, rolled 30 feet back down the hill and I missed again on the way up for double bogey. Great stuff there! Had another 3 putt par on the next par 5 on the front where you once again can't stop a ball anywhere near the hole. On the 9th I had such bad frame rate again on a flop near the green that I fast fasted it for another bogey. Back to the 12th! Once again couldn't swing from the tee and got another slow into the bunker! Mailed it in from there basically. Came in at -43. Mediocre finish probably. No clue what someone will get to. If you split up your four rounds and stay patient, I'm sure someone will average -13 or -14 per round and get toward the mid -50's.
So in summary, a complete putting competition, boring. Pretty mindless course from tee to green, easy to get close to pins but then you have to hit a complete side winder to make birdie. There are very few "under the hole" spots anywhere. Frame rate is absolutely disastrous on 9 and 18 anywhere around the green, and the 12th hole is literally unplayable.
Really wish more designers would make extremely undulated and challenging greens but literally just put the flatten tool over the hole location so players can be rewarded when they're inside 6 feet. Doesn't have to be straight but it gets damn exhausting holding R2 and throwing your marker 5 feet away for every 5 footer.

We’ve loved his other works this season. 😂

A bunch of bushes and rocks is not worth holes being completely unplayable for someone on console. It’s really a fine course, like I said from tee to green it’s pretty basic strategy and difficulty wise. And I have some empathy for placing four sets of pins. It can be a pain in the ass with green grids only showing on Thursday pins. But just a simple fuzzy brush flatten one time over every pin would’ve made it a real enjoyable tournament overall.

I was bitten by the lagging issues several times. Normally this never happens for me. Kind of crazy to happen like that on a course with no waterfalls or crowds. Anyway the course design was kind of boring except for the greens. I don't understand why we never played them at the default 180 speeds. I tried a practice round with the default speed and they played great. I would have just set up all 4 rounds on 180. At 163 and 144 they are kind of meh, at 187 not really fair.
After being bitten by the laggy tempo issues a few times I just speed golfed to the end assuming I was destined for middle of the pack. I wish we had played Torrey, I guess I will get to play that in TST al least.

-7 -11
-18
Probably two or three short of the cut. Missed three very makeable putts on the front nine of the first round. After that I played solid but not great.

Lag lag lag lag lag. Cost me shooting silly low Mostly on hole 6, 9 and 12. Every round I hate moaning bout it but the course is great. A good test but ruined by lag. Im guessing just over planted on them holes. Putted poorly in rd 1. -9 Played real solid rd 2 -16 missed a few putts to go silly Rd 3 lag ruined my momentum twice on 6 and 12 as i was just heating up. Rd 4 less said about that the better. -5 thru 8 and lag gave me slow at bottom over the water. I thought id got away with it and it rolled off and into hole in rocks. Unplayable couldnt move ball at all wouldnt let me go bk to tee. Hit it bk in water. Put me in the rocks again. Same again. Back on rocks so just whacked it. Came off the rocks straight up in the air and landed on the greens and drained the putt for a 6. Tried to keep my head on but 12 got laggy slow on the next par 3. Never got up and rolled back off green. Then very slow at the bottom of the flop left me a horror putt which i missed. Great course just shame lag killed it for me. Good luck all. On to next week again.

Very engaging and challenging course but I got frustratingly exhausted hitting decent shots to within 12ft. or so and having to almost swivel dead sideways to allow for what felt like 12ft. of break. Winner will get to -50. I agree with you on the shots. I shot -48 and putted like I didn't have grids on. I think the winner might get to -60+.

No chance. Unless they're close to -50 through 3 rounds. Only half way through R4 but don't think you appreciate how good your final Round is.
Was all ready to praise the selection and the setup in its entirity until i got to R4. 187's are just a no no around here. The default set by the designer is 180, and it's 180 for a reason. Shame
