First, have to credit VctryLnSprts for the inspiration on this. Second, if anyone's played either The Gauntlet at Streamsong, Thistle Dhu at Pinehurst, or The Himalayas at St. Andrews, It's evident that these crazy layouts are sometimes the most enjoyable "courses" and are ridiculously fun. If you haven't, I put some photos of inspiration below: they are self-contained putting courses, usually about an acre or two in size, that feature extreme contours as their primary defense. That's why I have begun to install one between my 5th, 8th, and 17th holes at my newest course, Matador (http://tgctours.proboards.com/thread/21638/matador-wip). Don't have anything worth showing yet, but I made sure to put it in a spot that granted it full ocean views as well as sweeping views of the Matador. I'll throw some pics up once I have it completed. For reference: The Gauntlet at Streamsong (Black): Thistle Dhu at Pinehurst: The Himalayas at St. Andrew's:

Some progress updates: Contours will be refined and sharpened, hole locations not final.
