Valero Texas Open
TGCT Record alert! Barry Terrell ties the TGCT Sim low score record with a 58 in R3. He was 6 shots clear of the next golfer in that round. He'd need every one of those shots to hold off Abb "Shot out of a Cannon" Cauthorn who almost claimed his 2nd victory on tour. Terrell claims his first win and takes home $540,000 for his troubles.
POS Name Total Thru Round R1 R2 R3 R4 Strokes 1 0 Barry Terrell -22 F -1 70 67 58 71 266 2 6 Abb Cauthorn -22 F -7 65 68 68 65 266 3 -1 Jason Foster -21 F -2 66 65 66 70 267 4 0 Bill Allen -20 F -3 68 65 66 69 268 5 -3 Victor Lane -19 F E 63 66 68 72 269 5 3 Jon Robinson -19 F -5 68 67 67 67 269 5 0 Scott Fulton -19 F -3 66 67 67 69 269 5 11 C. On the WGR front - Jon Robinson extends his lead while Daniel Blanton jumps 8 spots into #4. Art Vandelay returns to the top 10 as well. Abb "Shot out of a Cannon" Cauthorn moves up to #36 after just 18 events. That's WGR #1 pace if he can keep it up. Gordy Berry with a big leap, moving up 74 spots to #105 with his win but the biggest mover of the day is Barry Terrell who was in a career long slump until his win this week. That win moved him up 89 spots to #147.
That's all for today - Enjoy! Updated WGR [gsheet width="620" height="750" style="background- color:#102B4D"]1Fc7jHVtD7XKC51EbIiUdlpbTxUGrp4uMPDhOGrpfcGY[/gsheet]

Virtual me must have either contracted caronavirus, gotten injured riding a mechanical bull, or has just been too hung over to make many tee times lately. Played 3 events total from weeks 20-26, finishes of something like 17-MC-19. Looking back, it does seem like I was "playing" more events - as I would expect given my green participation rating - but there's been a lazy stretch lately.
I mean, who does this guy think he is, skipping out on the Honda and Arnie's tourney? Get your sh%$ together virtual me, you're embarrassing us. /peptalk

Nice to see my virtual self has moved up in the WGR for the first time in awhile. I'm still closer to the bottom than I am to the top. 5 cuts made in 13 events is pretty bad, even with a top 10 finish in there.

I haven't seen my name in a while. You do realize you can open up the sheets to see the full field. You played in the Masters event.

A M/C at Augusta, no surprise as those weird sandwiches never agreed with me.
Onward to Hilton Head, I look good in tartan.
