Trighton Park GC aka the "The Muni Project" is finally published! Designed to feel like a typical municipal course (albeit a bit fancier) this course is great for a casual round, or for newer players. Tips out at 6,622 yards, and defaults to 152 green speeds (though it's been tested up to 163 if you want them a bit faster). Target difficulty is somewhere around CC-Am, though it would be an easier week for those guys. Green speeds can go lower and there are shorter tees if you want that true municipal experience.

Great course ... Holes 8, 15, 16 & 18 are a little suspect ... as is that pot bunker in front of 11. But, other than that, nice work

But, other than that, nice work Yes, which reminds me that I forgot to appropriately credit you and Eric on this one. Between your help and feedback from the rest of the DAM bunch, it wouldn't be half the course it ended up being.

Comfortably the most relaxing round of TGC I've had in a long time. Really enjoyed the round as well as what you've done with empty space on this course. A particular highlight for me was the 2nd, which felt very natural and realistic. There were others - loved 11 as a 'way too good to be on this course' hole and 15 as a cool risk/reward par five. The last two par threes were really nice as well - lots to enjoy here and I'll be back whenever the game stresses me out

Played this with gdog this afternoon on his day stream, and although I had spent some hours with this course already, I was pleased to play it "for real" in the game. My initial reaction upon seeing what Matt and Jeremy (and other DAM consultants) had done on this course was overwhelmingly positive. I'll try to explain why, but likely won't capture how it makes me feel (all warm and fuzzy inside). We have the opportunity to play lots of amazing fictional courses in this game because moving earth and maintaining the grounds costs us nothing, so it's an endless sandbox (which guys like Sindre are thankful for) that we can do nearly anything with, and obviously we all enjoy that. However, some of the more simple and realistic designs in the game can feel "dull" or a bit "flat", and don't really hold any appeal to play in a video game. To me, this course absolutely captures the realism of a course in anybody's local area that they could walk on and play this Saturday! It's not overdone, the hole designs aren't trying to be anything they're not, and the quality of the course is still just as high as any other MattF27 course without the bells and whistles of all the eye candy, which our local muni courses don't have anyway. This course just struck me as personal and approachable, and like Ben said above, it's just the perfect venue to play a high-quality golf course in the game without the stress. I hope this makes it to CC-Am someday.

I can smell the cigs/cope and Miller lite and hear the city/highway traffic while playing this course haha Reminds me of so many I’ve played in my life when looking for good cheap golf. Think it would be great for the beginners and even the sim community if chadgolf let’s his people know about it.

Put a dip of copenhagen in, loved the fact I could play a round with my crocs, sleeveless shirt and jorts and not get the side eye from the high browed community
Beautiful track here, just wonderfully constructed and a great relaxing round of golf..>Great work bud
PS: I didn't spit on any greens, but did pee in a bush or two making my way round the course

Finished playing your course and I must say it is very realistic it reminds me of some local courses that I've played years ago, Don't play much anymore except on my xbox. Very enjoyable play though nice open look just enough planting and good view from the tees. Very nice course in my opinion hope to play your next course good job.

I hope this makes it to CC-Am someday. Being ranged at the moment... I played a round for my ranger duties.. I agree with you Eric, very well done from a natural perspective. I especially like the perimeter planting, as it really adds to the 'carve a course out of this overgrown field' vibe - like it was there for years even before the course was dreamt up on paper.. Fine job Matt!

Played earlier and this is fantastic! Well done, Matt! It reminds me of a course I play quite regularly about 50 miles away. This is a gem and played a beaut in all VF with some massive winds!
