And Fluffhead for having 10 posts and being new around here.... You shouldn't go making assumptions about a veteran like me. It's not a good look for ya 😉😘

These courses aren't unfair though. We're all playing the same course and plenty of people are doing really well. I don't practice any cc-pro courses as I don't have the time either. Your complaints just seem directly correlated with your results on the leaderboards. I've been around a long time and I'll assure you, it's nothing to do with my place on the leaderboard. I don't care if I'm 15 over or 15 under when I see a hole that is in the midst of yellow squares... That's illegal. When you land a shot 5 feet from the pin but have a huge swooping putt, I don't care if it's for eagle or double.... That's tricked up. I honestly don't care about my scores anymore because I've hit the top of where I can hit in TGCT for X1 because Masters clubs are unplayable. I would almost even welcome moving down so that I could be in contention again but I don't care that much. So no, I make my judgements about the course in round 1, not after the chips have fallen and how my score is. I agree with you mate fluffhead needs to be around the tours a bit longer and get to know people before making such assumptions. The second point you made about tucked pins when your hitting in with a long iron I agree with, the game just doesn’t give you the ability to put enough backspin on the ball to stop it before it runs off the back. Playing on Xbox myself and one that has trouble with master club tempo I find I’m hitting more long irons than most to greens in game. At least this course this week played of white tees making it a little less challenging with pro clubs.

SkyBlueBen 3rd round -8 4th round -7 Congratulations katana22 for getting your course on tour, I did kinda figure it out at the end and sussed out that the best play on the 15th is a 3W off the tee which takes the tree outta play. The one thing I did notice is a few of the greens sloped off at the sides so an over or under hit shot seemed to roll off. I meant to say evilgrin72 that I got a ticket for Faith No More in Glasgow, although it's seating but at least I'm in the building and hopefully can blag myself into the standing area.

I forgot to say I've got a few clips for the video but still got a lot more to do as well as clips of the course. I've not had much time to do stuff with work and stuff, and I think my pixel golfer has took the huff because he had to wear some dodgy outfits as well as being dressed up in red, white and blue and a St George's Cross.

@ashton fox I certainly understand the time thing. I've slacked in my own rangering duties between the rounds here, the Stableford group, and contest designing/judging. It ain't easy. I just want to assure you that no one picks courses willy nilly. This week's course is a little rough around the edges, with some warts, but it's not really tricked up IMO. Sadly, we can't play my courses every week . Or any of the huge number of terrific designers. There will be courses we like better than others. Heck, St. Bedes started a holy war last year with many that loved it, and many that did not. I was in the "did not" group, but that's a discussion from another time.
Suffice to say, there will never be a week with 100% agreement on the course. Last season, everyone loved a course of mine, but there was one comment that called it garbage. Can't please everyone all the time.

Thanks for explaining your position Ashton. I don’t agree with everything you said necessarily (not that that makes me right), but it helps me to understand your position.

I don’t know all the ins and outs of selecting a course or even how to make one, but I do know that most of the courses selected this season have all had the same look and feel. Boring is the word that comes to mind with these courses. I just don’t understand why TGC Tours won’t mix things up and throw in the RCR’s. So many great courses just sitting there doing nothing. I want to play the Copperheads, Belfrys, the one that “shall not be named”, Wentworth.. the list goes on and on. Instead we get courses that don’t even have a single tree ( I forget the name of that monstrosity, you guys know it though! ) Let’s play some golf!.. get the good courses in here. Thanks

lions67 agree. RCRs are great. They aren't fantasyland/tricked up. Or, when there is a course that people seem to enjoy (maybe take a 2 question poll after events of 1. Did you like the course 2. Did you think it was fair), leave it alone. I wish we played the same courses year after year
