Great to see you get this done and really enjoyed my round. Thought the hole variety was good throughout and an eagle-birdie finish saw me sneak in under par after a rough patch early in the back nine. Best of luck with the contest!

I actually really enjoyed the course, I always enjoy playing something that gives me a challenge and also gives a realistic flow through the course

Got a round in on your course Mike. I enjoyed the course. Thought you did a good job pulling off the links-ish style mixed with some traditional..sort of a hybrid I suppose.. Good Luck in the competition!

Thanks to Matt and PithyDoc for playing and commenting on Sea cliffs. I take your opinions to heart, and even though I do not agree with all of them I will endeavor (or endevour since this is an Irish course) to implement them in my next work.
A couple of comments and explanations:
The fencing - I am a designer that really dislikes non-realism around a course; houses without roads, or placed in the middle of the plot without anyway to get there as an example (maybe finally a use for helicopters). The idea of having no fencing next to a 40 foot cliff is anathema to me - think of the needless deaths! I agree that I will try to put the fairway further from the fence next time though. As for the OB next to the cliff, I was damned if I do and damned if I don't; if I did not put it in and somebody went down (Matt) it is very hard to get back up, and they would b%& about no OB.
Sorry about the floating yardage markers on three; I did adjust the fairway down for better sightlines and totally did not notice the markers - my bad.
Interesting thing about the large pit in the #seven fairway that you called me out on. Originally that was a series of sand traps, but one of the comments on my WIP was I should continue the pit from #6 all the way to the cliff. Foolish me for doing so. As for the pit being below sea level it is not, or it would have water in it.
Anyway, minor points, and I do really appreciate the comments. It was nice that you like the greens (although VictryLane had some trouble with the size lol).

As for the pit being below sea level it is not, or it would have water in it. Think that may have been me - I do maintain it's better than the original, as you'd have just had the comments about the chasm appearing out of nowhere on the one hole rather than it seeming a bit more continuous over the two. As the guys said, if it were joined up with the rest of the landforms (i.e. cliff and coast), I think it would have fitted and worked really nicely. Still one of the most interesting courses to play in the contest for me and I hope it does well

You don't understand Ben, the random pits on the course are where they were mining for gold!! ;)

Starting to do some more in depth play throughs and gave this a go last night. Really enjoyed the changes you made from the Beta I played initially. I didn’t love the planting initially but the final version does have more of the links vibe going. It’s more of a critique on the game because I feel like it’s extremely difficult to make a true links course. But I had a fun round!
Good luck.
