I understand they are meant to be tough, but some of the pin placements are just absolutely ridiculous! miss a 1" down hill putt by an inch at dead weight, off the green! I just think some common sense is not being used when looking at setting this up and conditions of the course. Never the less time for a demotion hopefully see you all soon!

the 3rd and 4th rounds are a joke and I know you need to make them tough to somewhat combat the cheaters but for the people who have lives and can't spend 6 hours playing practice rounds under the same conditions it is awful. This course, while done by a good designer, is so unrealistic it should be in the fantasy grouping. Very sad tgc, I have talked you up for a long time and you failed this week.
Ps my score is fine so its not sour grapes.

I had some bad swings which didn't help, but the pins were also in really tough spots. All in all I'd say it was worth it even though I shot +7 for the tourney.

I disagree 100 percent. Fair means good shots rewarded and bad shots penalized. And again I do not count the cheaters but the people like me and you who play for fun. If you hit on the fairway and have a short iron in, you're ball will not go far upon landing. Holes should not be cut where a small miss means 40 feet away. That's gimmicky. I know its a video game and if you made course conditions more tour like, guys would shoot 50s but I'm looking at scores and see 94s, multiple 90s, etc. Major or not I expected better. the 3rd and 4th rounds are a joke and I know you need to make them tough to somewhat combat the cheaters but for the people who have lives and can't spend 6 hours playing practice rounds under the same conditions it is awful. In regard to pin placement I'm not sure. I would say the game emulates a pro player's skill at about where I play. Some good rounds under par, some around par, and occasionally over par, with very challenging courses producing tough rounds. The people shooting in the 90's, even for R4 of this tourney, are simply not good at the game yet. At the end of the day it's only one week.I appreciate your perspective though!

Just thought I would come in here and say hello. Bethpage was a brutal week for me personally as it was for many others and I paid the price. Demoted to F. Shot a +5 over the week. The week before I shot -24 and that was good for two REDS!!.. incredible don’t you think? -24 should be good enough to win a tournament but instead it started me on my downward slide.
Anyways, is what it is and I’m glad to be competing here with you all. Hopefully this thread is more active than E is. Taking this weeks tourny off so I will see you all next week!

Wasn't a big fan of Tangalooma this week. I shot well the first and last round, ended up -21 for the tourney with 65, 69, 70, 63. Third round was a disaster. I must have missed putts on the low side of about 10 or 12 holes. Talk about frustrating! Looks like I might miss another demotion this week.

Found it very awkward. 68,70,68,62 -20 for me, finally worked out the greens in round 4 but could never hit a putt high 😪 low side every time!

I also was not a fan of Tangalooma. It is perhaps the ugliest course I've ever played on TGC. And boring doesn't begin to describe it. It plays pretty easy due mostly to the super wide fairways, but it still bores me to death.

For me it was the lay of the land. Seemed like every landing zone (at least with pro clubs) was a 45 degree angle lie for your next shot. Didn't seem all that realistic.

Tngalooma frustrated me too. Ended up -24... seemed like every pin was stuck close to a slope forcing you go long and inevitably a down hill faster than Lewis Hamilton putt..

Still here. Sitting on 4 demo marks. Played my first two rounds at Red River. Shot -7 first round even after getting 3 bogeys on the front. Second round was an absolute barn burner for me. Started with a bogey, then proceeded to clutch every damn putt out there and holed 2 chips. Shot -12 for my best round so far in TGCT. It's early but I'm even on the first page of the in game leaderboard (it's REALLY early though).

After getting fast tracked from CC-G to F this week I wanted to keep playing to see if my hot run continued. Shot -34 over the 4 rounds (with an Ace in the 2nd round). Wondering if that will put me in the hunt for another fast track
