I'll be the first to post a score for this new season......
Rd 1 (-8) Rd 2 (-9) Rd 3 (-5) Rd 4 (-8) Total (-30)
I am super excited about this score..... after a month with Master Clubs it seems things are turning for the better!
Good luck everyone!

Nice scores Koop!
Note to self, don’t have 2 weeks off then come into the first round cold with zero practice! 😂
Only played 2 but struggled massively first round, 2nd round I faired a little better. Some tricky holes to be fair if you don’t find the right section of green.

I have been there. Tough!

Finished my rounds off and a disappointing start to the season.
-2 -8 -7 E
Putter went stone cold on the last round but I found the greens tough overall to be honest. Seemed to just keep missing the slopes on the wrong side and leaving myself with tricky putts.
Oh well, cobwebs have been blown off, onto the next week!

Some tricky holes to be fair if you don’t find the right section of green. I just did the same thing and had a horrible outing. My drives were okay, but everything else was horrendous. Played okay R1, but then the wheels came off R2 - R4. First outing, hopefully I can remove the demotion marks I'm about to receive. Best of luck to all players this week.

Well, another very poor showing for my first 2 rounds.
Anyone have a putter for sale? Mines snapped in 2 and been thrown in the lake 😂

First official event on the TGC Tour after a mixed bag of a Q School. Shot +4 in the first round then -1, -1, and E to land in this flight. Definitely not one of those guys who goes out and shoots -9 or -10 every time out like you see at the top of the leader board, but definitely disappointing to see silly mistakes off the tee and on the green cost me so much in the first round.
It's the same story this week. Started the first round off par, triple bogey, double bogey. If only I played a fade in TGC the way I do IRL, that OB on the right of those holes wouldn't have been issue. I finished up with 39 on the front nine, so not a terrible situation all things considered, and then surged back up the board to 41st with a 29 on the back nine that included an albatross on 15. Definitely pleased with my recovery. After that immediately went back out for my second round with the good vibes from the back nine fresh in my mind. It couldn't have gone any worse, I couldn't make a putt to save my life, couldn't hit any greens it seemed like, and I could've sworn my tee balls were magnetically attracted to the rough. I I finished up at +7 for the round and couldn't be gladder there isn't a cut. Haven't played my 3rd or 4th round yet, figured I needed some time off after that showing. Once I get back to it on Thursday or Friday after my work week is finished up the game plan is just grind out a couple of smart, risk averse rounds that hopefully get me in the top 100 and away from the negative movement marks and on to Kill Devil Hills, a course that suits me a bit better imo.
Edit: didn't finish up in last place! Woohoo! Onwards and upwards.

That was a struggle.
Really fighting for each gained stroke on all greens. Felt like last weeks course was a walk in the park compared to this weeks course.
Anyone else struggelig on kill devil Hills?

I've been on a quick trend downward. Probably just passing through on my way to G... Lol. Started off with a promising -9 though! It's been a rough go lately. Hopefully I'll be turning it around here in CC-F
Good luck to all!
PS Who's doing the promo event?

Well played a lot more consistent this tournament ... not too many tempo or F/F issues Finished 67,67,69,64 -21 Should keep me above water, and not get a red x
And yes played the promo event ... RD1 71 Then in RD 2 87 (yikes), fell apart on the last two holes, cost me +11 Back to form the next two rounds, RD3, 73 and a good last round of 67 to finish the event at +10 Don't think I'll be promoted, unless it's down. lol

I fell out of E, and I posted a -13, probably on my way to more demo marks in F. Promo -22, not really good for much. -50 for the win, wtf, how did that guy even manage to get into F in the first place.

Played my RD 1 today on Angel's Edge and finished with a +1 ... and have to say that was a good round !!! Should have been a lot worse ... scrambled for pars !!!
I'll be having nightmares playing this course ... not to mention my nerves !!!
This is one course ,IMO, you have to be P/P or down the cliff you go ... and did that already.
Usually play more than one round on Sunday ... but this time around I will be patient and take it with stride.
Good Luck to all ... this one is a true test of getting a perfect tempo consistently.
Interested in what others think of this course and their play on it.
