Hey Dean where have you been not seen you post on the forums for a bit Lost interest really although I have been playing recently. Maybe the new game will get me into it again. How are you doing? Are you still playing on the main tour? I’m in CC-B at the minute mate, pre ordered the new game. As a matter of interest you might want to know I’ve released three Lidar courses you might like. Bishop Auckland GC, HartlepoolGC Old or New most people play the new course and just recently Seaton Carew Lidar. I don’t know if you have played them in real life but you might be interested. On the design board I’ve got Lidar versions of Barnard Castle, Rockliffe Hall, Beamish Park, Romanby GC and Fulford Golf club I’m hoping I can port them over to the new game to finish off.

There are two versions of Seaton play the one with Lidar the other one I was supposed to release as a beta but forgot to rename it, some of the tees are not flat and there are some yellow slopes on greens. Seaton Carew Lidar

I think I may be waving bye bye to the CC-Pro brigade... Sitting on 2 red demotion marks I had to play well to survive. The opposite has materialized...... 12 under through 36 going into the final 2 rounds & what an absolute $H!+ SHOW... - 3 followed up by a horrendous +2 for an event score of just 13 under par. Deffo red demotion marks incoming.... just depends how many.

In at -34 for the event here...went -9 in R3 and -10 in R4. Even managed a pair of birdies on par 3's in R4 (still finished the darn things at +1 for the week...not going to be missing them at all).

Well, as per usual, Victor Lane limped to the finish in another event, costing himself plenty of positions on the leaderboard. I've got to get that "mental" part of the game figured out before Season 7 on 2K21 begins. I also need to give huge kudos to the designer of this LiDAR course, Mike Ricks, because THIS is how a LiDAR course should look! It is a major pet-peave of mine that some people think LiDAR is the "easy way out" of the design process. The best LiDAR courses in this game are ones where there was care put into the LiDAR mapping and OSM, but then another bunch of hours is put into the course after that info is brought into the course creator. I can tell that there was a TON of care given to this course even AFTER it was brought into the creator, and Mike put in a lot of work to finish the project. I have never had the opportunity to play this course IRL, so I have no reference point, but I know it's a famous track and I have no doubt that this LiDAR probably did it justice. Absolutely GREAT JOB Mike! For those keeping score at home, Victor bogeyed the 72nd hole (due to a significant brain fart on the second shot that left him in the gully to the right of the green), to come home at -31 for the event. I've had a good time paying attention to the money list over the past few weeks, so my next post will be about that aspect of the week. Great job on the scheduling catcherman22, and again, AWESOME LiDAR course sandsaver01.

Here's how the top 8 on the CC-D money list fared in this week's event: Pos. | Player | Event | Notes | 1 | Wade Wilson | -15 | Might be headed to CC-E | 2 | Phil Cichero | -30 | Likely your new #1 | 3 | Cory Jackson | -19 | Lost some ground on the money list this week | 4 | Simon Morris | -13 | Might be headed to CC-E | 5 | Stefan Schuster | -31 | Very solid showing this week | 6 | Jack Hammer | -18 | Lost some ground on the money list this week | 7 | Victor Lane | -31 | Could jump into the top 5 depending on the shakeup | 8 | Micko Dillon | -32 | Best event finish of the top 8 this week |

Here's how the 4th placed player on the CC-D money list fared in this week's event: Pos. | Player | Event | Notes | 4 | Simon Morris | -13 | Might be headed to CC-E |
5 demotion marks added to the 2 already carrying - there's no "maybe" about it.......

R1: -6 R2: -8 R3: -9 R4: -9 Total: -32 I had some issues with the wind in Round 1 and many of these greens can leave you with nasty short putts if you hit the wrong side of the pin. The fairway dunes didn’t trouble me too much, except for the occasional awkward chip with the hill taking me one way and the wind taking me the other. I don’t think I’ll be getting my third green mark this week, but I should be safe in retaining the ones I have. Good luck out there! Good shootin'. Finished -26. DB on the 72nd hole. I should have layed up with my 2nd but foolishly left myself an absolutely colossal putt and ended up taking 5 more strokes! And the 12th, oh man the 12th was not my friend this week. Relatively speaking, this is a tough track. Never really felt comfortable on the greens. Many putts just shaving the hole because of that one extra little bit of break not accounted for and so many times getting it fairly close but still left with a tricky putt. It was tough going at times. Just hoping to keep my 2 promo marks intact now. Sadly my 2 promo marks has become 1. That DB on the 72nd hole cost me big time by just pushing me outside the top 100. Oh if only I had played a lay up, we could easily have been looking at a 3 shot swing in my favour there. Even a par would of been fine. Doh. Not a great start at Amaroo Bay either. A lacklustre -3 in tough conditions was at least followed by a -10 in the easier R2 conditions, but it looks like I'll need to get my act together in Rs 3&4 if I want to avoid another finish outside the top 100.

I just shot -42 at Amaroo Bay, hopefully get rid of my other demotion mark now. Very good shootin'. Any chance I had of posting a score like that was pretty much gone after my R1 -3. Managed to bounce back OK tho with rounds of -10/-8/-12 respectively. So hoping my -33 total is good enough for a top 100 finish and no damage this time.
