I have returned to CC-D after a short career on the BCT and then a few month break from tour play.
I will be playing my rounds here with master clubs. Hopefully I can have a few good tournaments and move up the CC-Pro ladder a bit. We will see how it goes!

Spoiler Alert:
I had a decent first round. -8 with 2 bogeys. It was all downhill from there. The next 3 rounds I went, -2, E, -1 for a grand total of -11. I usually don't like to play all my rounds in 1 day because this is generally what happens. Unfortunately this week I had to play them all in 1 sitting because I'm busy the rest of the week with other stuff. Whoops. Hoping to hold it together next week!
Regardless of the result I really enjoyed St.Cyrus. There are some really tough pin placements that make close shots feel very rewarding!

After playing Season 5 CC-D with Pro Clubs, decided season 6 would be the year I play with Masters. Last place after round 1 on Xbox with a two over round. Weird, shot -1 first round on TST. I don’t expect to stay in CC-D long.

Started in CC-F and made it to D in last tournament of the past season, off to a good start -10, -9, but finishing tournaments has been my problem. Do love the layout of this particular course and look forward to trying to compete with you guys in the D series.

I don’t expect to stay in CC-D long. Hang in there! If you stick with the masters your scoring will improve as you learn your own tendencies. I'm to the point now where I aim right of every target because I get the fast or very fast downswing much more frequently than a perfect. I played last season in CC-C with masters and ended up getting demoted as I wasn't focusing enough on my rounds to shoot consistent scores. I got discouraged when I ultimately started getting demotion marks on CC-D and couldn't hang with the Pro club users so I figured I didn't belong on CC Pro with master clubs. I took a break and played on the BCT for a while and then took a break completely from the tours for a few months. When I did Q-school again the last week of the season I played with master clubs figuring I would end up somewhere in the middle of CC-Am. As it turns out I ended up coming straight back to CC-D where I left off. Even if you think you aren't good enough to hang in CC-Pro with master clubs, you could surprise yourself and end up doing just fine!

This is totally what it took me a long time to learn... be ok with playing to your misses. My miss is to the right, so now I always give it a few clicks to the left, especially if I can't miss right. Doing this improved my scoring greatly.

I can already see the improvement since I took the advice of not pushing the joystick so fast forward, but to apply lighter pressure back and forward. ☺️

I've noticed also that applying less pressure gives better results but it's difficult to try to restrain. A few weeks ago I went to my brothers house and played with him on PS4. I was amazed how much extra pressure you could put on the joystick and not go off-tempo.

Doing this improved my scoring greatly. Funny you say that. My "miss" if I have perfect tempo is also to the right (with my right handed golfer). So since I always miss slightly right but also usually have a fast downswing it cancels out and goes relatively straight. Just a few clicks to the right, push the ball off contact, let the fast downswing draw it back to the target, and BINGO!

Anyone else having this Prob? I played first round on Xbox - Bob Barker Spay and Neuter. This tourney and course doesn’t show up under D-Tour courses this week. No leaderboard. This tournament though is an event under C-Tour...which I know I’m no where near good enough to be a part of.

I must tell folks what happened to me this week. After a full season with a fx-6300 cpu and experiencing only occasional lag, but wondering if I was leaving shots out there, I installed a fx-8350 in my gaming box and WOW. I'm doing so well, the game is 100 times more fun.
Just an FYI. Don't be cheap like me if you want to compete. With a tiny upgrade (thanks gamedebate.com) I've gone from around 40 pp/ 60 bad or horrible tempo at my best 80-90% pp overnight. I was second to last in the field last week, which precipitated the change. Watch me now (real name: Jim McKee) ~! I predict pro tours can be a reality for me. I was always good at golf games, but this one was the first in which I couldn't make elite. Took me a long time to clue in, because the only clues were on the fancy graphics courses which we rarely use on tour.
