My 3 week nightmare in cc-b is over! Welcome back! I don't know if you realised, but in your absence, we brought in a light initiation hazing for newbies. You need to head to the PGA thread and defend either of the following views strongly for 24 hours: a) Very high winds should be mandatory in all four rounds b) Flickers aren't doing anything wrong and everyone else just needs to get better Keep us posted.

-9 second round, which with the wind was a lot harder. Sitting at -22 after 36 holes, got to be happy with that. Looking forward to the 3rd round and low wind, just got to hope the putts drop (as always!) 👍

-12 for the first round. I was -8 after 9 holes, playing an almost perfect golf, then from 10th to 13th i missed one green (and my flop from the bunker stopped 2 inches short to the cup, as my approach on hole 1) and 2 birdie putts by literally hairs. Then i restart to birdie from 14th to 17th, then another birdie putt missed by inches. Anyway..no matter what my score can be, i make not illusion for my tournament. On these courses on which to win is needed something around -60, i never have the consistency to birdie every single hole how it should be done. Just to say, right now -12 means 32th place, outside by 1 stroke from the promo mark zone..and should still to play more or less 50 players. And, although the course is very charming to see (especially the planting, is really something) and enjoyable enough to play and it has nothing wrong, this is for me the prototype of the good course that should never be picked on tour. Anyway..good luck and good week to everyone

Just joined the group here after latest q-school. Long time TGCTours player and spent most of my time in PGA with the first two games. But I couldn't get TGC2019 and the tempo swing to resemble anything close to golf on Xbox, so I moved away from the game. Ended up coming back and playing Beginner clubs for awhile. Thought I'd give Masters another go, but it has been a really rough transition.
Played very poorly first tournament. My short game is a complete mess - can't get tempo on flops and pitches and that's costing me a ton of strokes. I can't remember my scores but I will be bottom of the pack area for sure.
But the challenge has been fun and I'll stick it out. Hoping the next game has some improvements!

I find very helpful for me to try a pair of swings before to make these shots..and it usually works. Flop, anyway, is really, totally, broken. When the ball is out of fairway is a nightmare everytime. But even from fairway, generally i prefer 1000 times a full wedge shot, if the strategy allows it.

-9 in round 2. Not too bad, considering i started with a really unfortunate bogey and i wasted (scoring par) two par 5 and (in a very silly way, with a misjudged pitch, too short to the green by a pair of meters) the short 17. I'm satisfied cause my swing is enough straight and i suffered almost nothing in the wind..and my putt worked really well too, in this round. I also suffered 3 randomic very fast swing (all of them in the approaches of the first hole and of the 2 above mentioned par 5...),but if i can play in this way i could be optimistic for round 3, cause conditions seems to be perfect for low scores, but i well know how much i can suffer on medium speed greens..cause it seems i simply can't learn how to read them in the proper way. Anyway..we will see. Good luck, guys

Might be time to give Masters a go I would if the new game wasn't coming out, but I'm here to enjoy myself, not struggle and suffer! 😂 Good answer Sometimes i wish to eat my controller with no salt, when i see my ball going in awful places just cause some randomic messed swing..and sometimes i miss the scores i could reach with good consistence with Pro Clubs. But i must also admit i actually love to play with Master Clubs. When i can have a "clean" round, i find the challenge extremely satisfying, no matters my score. But yes..sometimes (especially here in CC-A, where every mistake is immediately highlighted in the standings) is really hateful. Is the right move to play the clubs you find more enjoyable. After all is the only thing that matters.

Sometimes i'm really sad about the fact that if i try to record a video of my rounds, the game became simply unplayable cause the lag. My third round of -7 was really something to share. I had..i believe 4 or 5 tee shots that ended less than 5 inches out of fairway. Always having between 67 and 77 % of lie (and 83/90 % one time from the bunker). I had also at least 5 putts absolutely easy and 3/4 meters from the cup in which my putt started kick from left to right with no apparent reason. Or it stayed 2 inches short. And when you play the easiest round of the tournament and your final score is 2 strokes worst than the hardest round of the tournament, you can understand the golf's Gods simply don't like you (and that you are really an idiot, anyway). (Of course..all this after i played a practice round of -12, easily..with no eagles and missing 4 par 3s upon 5, just playing an average round) Then, after i screwed my tournament in the proper way, i played my 4th round too. -7 after 9 holes..than it started again. Exactly the same joke. And i ended with a -10. Meh..at least i can think about Nine Bridges all the week-end And i hope your week-end will be good too

Speaking of lag, my craptastic round 4 was in part driven by lag. I finally paused on hole 8 and realized my playstation decided it was a good time to also download 2 game updates in the background. Paused those downloads and proceeded without issues. Not sure why I bother with sleep mode if updates download while I'm actively playing. Oh well, on to the next one!
