-28, really another disappointing week of not being able to capitalize after being in the right position over and over.

Finally made my CC-A debut after 7 weeks off, and thankfully it only took the front nine in R1 to dust off the cobwebs. Finished at -42, partly thanks to a career-best round of -14 (57)!

Victor Lane will finish in the top 60 out of 166 this week on CC-A, and also immediately clear that demotion mark he picked up last week, so not a bad event overall. Don’t miss that ACE on the 10th hole in R3!

I had my best week on CC-A with a -40, but still not even close to top. Constant finishes between 40 - 80. I think I need to start working on Master's clubs to make make it up to the KF.

Something needs to be done. These courses are obviously geared towards the Masters clubs players and this really does not feel like we are all playing the same game anymore. Impeach the schedulers!

I will say Ashton, playing with pro clubs on this week or last week would be difficult. This week is long and the runout on the greens with pro would make things pretty tough. I don't know if there is a "fair" way to do it though. *shrug*

I think last week's course was more geared for pro club users given it was short, flat and had open areas in front of the greens.
This week's course is more balanced. Some of the elevated greens with long shots make it difficult for pro clubs.
I shot -14 in the second round with pro clubs with a bogey, so you can score.

As a Pro club user I like to work on my short game so when tackling longer par 5's I look to laying up to give me a better chance of scoring well. Personally I'd rather be off the green with a pitch or flop shot to get close than be on the green with a 50+ foot uphill putt. If your short game is good then short birdie putts become more frequent and you may be fortunate enough to bag a couple of eagles via chip or flop shots.

My time in this game might be coming to an end. -7 and -5 to open the tournament, but more than that, there's some sort of neurological disconnect that's been going on for like 4-5 weeks where I literally can't "start" my swing, and it's causing a ton of anxiety and I've lost all enjoyment of the game. Partner that with leaders shooting -16s and I just have no interest anymore.

Kinda like what Rickie Fowler does but I take it all the way to the top

I seem to get a block sometimes when I swing then when I swing again my tempo is off. This season it's an achievement for me to get in the top 50 as I've only managed to do so once. It might be worthwhile taking a week or two off and just play casual rounds.

It can help :-)
