Round 3 I didn't see this coming, doubt anyone did. -13. NOT a typo, not cumulative through three rounds. 1 iggle 11 chirpies and no drops. I'm stunned but I feel my beard growing as I type. HECK I think I hear fransslabak's, lessangster's and Ashton Fox's facial hair coming to life. Hope I have something left for round 4. Onward! You bet, Art!! Great shooting and yes, I could feel a beard-growth spurt while reading your post; onward!!!

Talking to yourself I think you and me both staring a blob in the face this week. As I've also finished this week I've played a couple of rounds on next week's course. I had exactly the same reaction. I was a bit intimidated by the constant elevation changes but even with higher winds and firm, fast conditions it rewards good shots and low scoring is possible. Often talk to myself because quite often I'm the only one who understands what the hell I'm talking about!
I'm really looking forward to next week after whinging constantly about this weeks offering though I appear to be not alone!
Saved from the big fat zero by your efforts Greg, rather than mine!! Thanks mate 😀 EDIT (Yep, talking to myself again....doh!!)

Dirtbag 5 - Week 2 - Midweek State of the Onion UpdateWhat a difference a week makes! JoeGolfer's quirky course has seen some unbelievably low scoring like Crazy Croc shooting -16 and Art Vandelay chucking in a -13 in Round 3. This has been contrasted by a record number of interventions from the Controller Protection League with more over par scores than ever before (including that nightmare week at the windy Portrush in week 1 of season 4). The normally consistent fransslabak had four rounds over par for +11 and @bovakian nearly matched that in R1 with a Dirtbag record of +9. Last week's rampant Goggas are not having it as easy against the rapidly improving Schrute Farm's team, who have already assured a win this week with 3 rounds to be completed. In this match the fickleness of Dirtbag scoring is shown in stark relief. Debutants VctryLnSprts and evilgrin72 have shot similar scores of -25 and -29 but Eric has zero points for his efforts whilst Johnny has a full house of 8 points, due to who they were paired with/against. Johnny edged Eric by a shot in their singles and the second of their pairs games and Eric came up one short in his other singles game against portred . Celtic Wolf has had a bit of a ropey week but at least has a couple of points, go figure. The other two matches are less clear-cut. The Weapons lead the Grinders 10-4 with 18 points still up for grabs but they are looking ominous. Leon and Ernie are as consistent as ever and sid snott seems to have assembled his excrement this week, so you would have to put your money on them to find at least 8 more points this week for a win. The Thumbs have the upper hand on the Barbas 10-6. After a slow start Hunter B has found some form and a pair of double figure under par rounds look good for points in the singles. Randy has come to play this week and currently has the second best individual total score in the clubhouse and surely more points headed his way. Anything could happen in the other games, even Fran's record over par total could bring some points in the singles given the inconsistent scoring this week. Dirtbags isn't always fair but the people here make injustice easier to take. Big thank you to everybody getting into this and rounds getting played early in the week. It makes my life easier and helps keep the momentum through the week. I know I am already looking towards next week's rollercoaster course. No buggies on there, that's for sure but it plays brilliantly, I can't wait, so will probably hack my nads off when we get there. Good luck to everyone who has rounds to play and ONWARD!!!

Saved from the big fat zero by your efforts Greg, rather than mine!! Thanks mate 😀 EDIT (Yep, talking to myself again....doh!!) Hey that's Dirtbags. We have avoided the blob and you never know as the average score in Round 4 from the 11 players who have finished is -3.63. That sits between our scores, so maths says one of us might pick up something but Dirtbag experience says we both end up with 2 points for the week unless we both win.

Hello Dirtbags! How are you all?? I've had the odd quick dive back here, just to see who's still playing and stuff. Was just in here the other day, and happy to see the new season has so many players and teams Just thought I'd drop in and say me and my old Dirtbag mate Sid snott have been paired together in a team competition in another society! A very happy piece of luck We're going to borrow the Dirtbag name for it if that's all good with you lot

If you had a couple of spare controllers to sweeten the deal that would be great. Some people have been raging about the greens and tempo recently it would always be great to have a few in stock to replace those damaged when interfacing with living room walls. Good to see you are thriving in the big boy leagues.

honeybadger64 round 4 in the books a rather poor -4 under, that leaves me at 2 points for the week thanks to my doubles partner Ashton for those points.

Talk about struggling to score... even par for the front 9 on Round 3 and wondering where any progress was going to be made. Fortunately the back 9 was kind to me and I came home with a -6. Now -4 overall need to find another -6 or better in Round 4 to be confident that I am clear or nearly clear of any demo marks.

Round 4 -5 and it could have been better except for HB Tempo Roulette.. how the heck it still gives you very fast downswings off the tee or fairway really gets me.. in the rough I can understand. I think I'll be stuck with 1 demotion mark unless everyone else buggers up their final 2 rounds. Anyway onwards and upwards to Sindre's fjord course.

Might be a bit disappointing but after that opening round... You will certainly be in line for Bandit of the Week with 6 points from your -9 total, I'll bet VctryLnSprts would swap you in a heartbeat and think you might not be far off safety this week which will be a result after that opening round...

Holy crap. I have to shoot -13, -10 just to tie the last 2 rounds?
That does not bode well for the Ashton Fox revenge tour. Great shooting, guys.

Round 3 completed and my weapons of choice did a bombing raid on the grasses of Raynor Ridge.
I shot -13 (58). I was 5 under at the turn for home and birdied every hole on the back 9 other than hole 12.
Not sure what's happening but currently my tempo with ****** clubs is bloody good.

Lone sniper rounds played & much better than my first two...... 8 under par on the far easier moderate / slower settings (much more enjoyable too) 3rd pin. 5 under par to wrap things up..... Need to thank my captain (Leon) for carrying me (wounded) whilst earning points in the pairs. Waiting now to see if I've done enough to keep my regiment happy!!?
