Just had a look at the course for next week, seen it before, RRCC perhaps? Seem to remember it’s another toughie. Brace yourselves Dirtybags! Forget that, just had a quick look around and it's bark is worse than it's bite!! Looking like a relaxing week with rather scenic views.
But, this week to get out of the way first, it's Wednesday, and I'm still looking like the UK in the Eurovision song contest. Nil points....

Talking to yourself I think you and me both staring a blob in the face this week. As I've also finished this week I've played a couple of rounds on next week's course. I had exactly the same reaction. I was a bit intimidated by the constant elevation changes but even with higher winds and firm, fast conditions it rewards good shots and low scoring is possible.

Often talk to myself because quite often I'm the only one who understands what the hell I'm talking about!
I'm really looking forward to next week after whinging constantly about this weeks offering though I appear to be not alone!

Third round was a tough one.
Rd 3: -4
The start was horrendous. I was +3 through 5 and then traded birds and bogeys to finish the front at +1. Shot -5 on the back with a few missed opportunities thanks to a creeky putter. I always finish these rounds cringing at what could have been if I had just parred the 3 holes I botched. That's -7 right there. Oh well, on to the 4th round tomorrow. Hopefully I'll get off to a better start.

Got of to a flyer in rd 3 getting to -7 then the tempo monster started nipping at my heels at the start of the 2nd half of the rd and got a proper bite on 14th when I had a double bogey. Managed to shake him off with two more birdies to finish up where I was before it started going tits up at -7

Oh MAN!!! I shot another bogey-free round in R3, but missed my fair share of putts. I came to the 18th tee sitting at -10, planned a perfect shot, thinking possible ACE with that pin position, and HB gave me a perfect/fast. I was on the LEFT of that huge-ass raised horseshoe in the green, but I made a miraculous two putt to stay at -10.
Unfortunately, I don't think an R3 -10 is enough for me to win a point. :-(
On to the final round Goggas!

I am fuming pissed right now... (not really, but I was momentarily).
I played 4 rounds of CC-B at Raynor Ridge absolutely beautifully, concentrating and making wise choices the whole way through on a style of course that mentally wears me out. Then on the 70th mother effing hole my family distracts me with their shenanigans (my kids arguing and I had to intervene), leading to a mental error and my first bogey of the whole tournament. I know it's literally meaningless, but it was a personal goal of mine to make it through this tournament with no bogeys, and then I made one with TWO HOLES TO GO!!!
In any case, I birdied 17 and nearly aced 18, but tapped in my 6" birdie to finish R4 at -5.
So to review the week for Victor Lane, here are the results:
-6 -4 -10 -5 ----- -25
We've got another beautiful course next week!

Well my excuse is simple when I don't like a course I don't play well. Thats my excuse and I'm sticking to it the last 2 courses on the CC Pro have been pretty bad when there are so many 2 choose from. R1 -3 R2 -5
The other 2 rnds I will play with no joy lol. when I get the strength.

Round 3 I didn't see this coming, doubt anyone did. -13. NOT a typo, not cumulative through three rounds. 1 iggle 11 chirpies and no drops. I'm stunned but I feel my beard growing as I type. HECK I think I hear fransslabak's, lessangster's and Ashton Fox's facial hair coming to life. Hope I have something left for round 4. Onward!
