Looks amazing! Can't wait to play it.
Another fun thing you could do in the future is pick a random area of the Irish coast with LiDAR if it's available? There's some amazing terrain on the West Coast that is just begging to have some more golf courses along the Atlantic!
If you can get the LiDAR please let me know too

I'll see if I can still find some LiDAR for Ireland though because I think it would be cool to see what it throws up

So kinda suffering designer block on the final two holes at the moment, I have some ideas but not entirely sure how I want to execute them. So while not being able to decide what to do for those 2 holes l, I went and began reworking my bunkers. Before I literally just went with fairway and bunker which from a playability point of view worked beautifully but looked so weird. Going back to a very classic looking bearded bunker that is surrounded by heavy rough and long grass. Here's a shot of a bunker I finished on the 1st hole, let me know what you think

Yeah, I think that looks way better and fits the course nicely. Go with that!
Edit: also, definitely don't force an 18th hole. Wait for it to come naturally.

That's a fact, I've just been working on everything else while figuring out 18. Still have another 6 weeks to get it done so plenty time really

The 13th named "The Fort" after the Fairy Fort located in Kilmurry. The Fairy Forts are a part of Irish Heritage that date back to late Iron Age, early Christian Times. The site at the back of the green is not 100% just yet, I've got base planting done and if still room in the plant meter when I'm done, it'll get expanded further.

Into the final stages of the project now, the course itself is mapped and sculpted, all the planting for the course is pretty much done, just working on some background stuff. All going well will be published tomorrow. Did a playtest on it with typical links conditions, everything cranked up to the max and managed to shoot even par. It's going to be a very tough test, as planned, and demands plenty of patience. My overall aim was to create a course that challenges players, a course that requires the very best of course management. Plenty of birdie opportunities, but plenty of holes that can rack up bogies. Looking forward to getting this one out there
