So I've been working for several weeks now on a Lidar/RCR of an unnamed course in Ft Worth where an unnamed PGA Tour event (can I even say that?) takes place. After recent events, I am wondering whether to proceed with publishing said course as planned this weekend. Any thoughts?

publish away. This is a ANGC thing. Not an all courses thing.

Just don't tell any members that you made their course

Thanks for the feedback, guys. My plan is to publish a member's version this weekend, followed by a tour version complete with championship tees only, grandstands and crowds shortly thereafter.

One follow up question in light of the fact that another RCR has disappeared from the game. When I publish my unnamed course this weekend, should I use the real name or a fictitious one?

Good question, one I am dealing with myself. At a minimum, I would save a back-up copy of the file so that, if it disappears after publish, you can republish using a fake name.

That's an excellent idea. I'm going with that. Thanks.

Please, finish your course. Is a beauty. No counting the fact that, after all your hard work, it would be really painful first of all for you, to throw simply everything on the bucket. Publish your course and publish it with his real name. Save a copy and let us enjoy your great work

I plan on finishing the member's version this weekend and will release it under its real name. P.S. I have noticed that you and I have been posting somewhat similar scores on CC-B the last few weeks. Even though I'm convinced that you are better than I am, I have been trying to match your scores as much as I can. I'm enjoying that and your involvement here at TCTTours. I'm looking forward to trying to keep up with you in Season 6!

I'm looking forward to trying to keep up with you in Season 6! Uuuuuh a rivalry!! I like it!! Seriously..normally I don't enjoy so much this kind of challenge..i see other players like teammates, more or less..united against the course and the challenge that EVERY shot offers on EVERY hole of EVERY course. Of course, I want to be the best player is possible..and I want to win, badly...or, at least, to score always the best I can, but a "personal" rivalry can't be a too serious thing for me. Is not enough, unless we are the best two players in our flight All so said, why not? But I can already affirm easily that I'm not "better" than you..or than someone's else. I'm absolutely not a "natural talent" or that kind of guy that automatically scores something around -10 or better. Sometimes it happens, but my medium score with no practice, just to play a round, is -8, I suppose. At my best, I mean. To score better i need to study a course..and practice every pin one time (to decide what clubs to put in my bag, to check where absolutely DON'T shoot a ball..and, in short, to understand a bit all those little nuances on a course that can make the difference between to score a-12 or a -6) Just for example, after the -11 on the first round at the Kraken's revenge, I decided that I couldn't win and, having also a lot of thing to do, i played my second round without practicing and scored immediately -6 All this just to say that it will be a good fight, for sure you'll not start losing. Never. And I'll be more than happy to enjoy this challenge See you soon on the first tee for the next season!
