Less than 8 weeks until the kid shows up and knocks course design WAY down the list of priorities. Looking less and less like I might delete this one. Three holes mostly done thus far.

Not so fast my friend!
Unless you are one of the unlucky ones who gets a poor sleeper, there's a lot of naps each day, and not a lot to do during those naps. I had a good leave policy, so I designed a ton during my leave. Even after I went to back to work, there was still plenty of opportunity.
Hopefully I didn't jinx you, but don't pack it up yet... not until #2 at least!

Three holes mostly done thus far. i think you underestimate the time you'll actually have after having a baby. You'll find yourself letting your wife nap when the baby naps. Meanwhile you will be alert waiting for any sound to come out of that baby. I've spent countless hours awake at night just listening for a cry, so that mom didn't have to wake up. My go to was metal gear and a lot of netflix.

Actually seems like they’re a lot more work when they hit the terrible 2’s stage

And congratulations!! Heh. My 2 year old just turned 3. My other 2 year old is still 2 though. My 2 3 year olds are a bit of work, but I think my 1 year old takes the cake. The 4 year old is pretty easy And I have plenty of free time, at least until our new arrival early september. There was a time I used to sleep. But it's been ages
