For my second ever design I present Smoky Ridge Golf Course! This course is set in a valley in the Smoky Mountains. It's a Par 72 (36 front, 36 back). The tournament tees are the BLACK tees. It has straightforward tee shots for the most part with some opportunities to take a risk (Especially #10 if wind permits). Some tee shots may also require a little bit of shot shaping. The course plays mostly straightforward but with deceivingly tough greens.
Below I have recorded a playthrough if you want to see some of the ways I designed the course to play. Hole 1 Hole 6Hole 9Hole 12Hole 13
Required Elements: At least ONE Drive-able par 4 (#2, #16 if you're crazy) At least ONE blind tee shot (#13) At least ONE three shot par 5 (#5)
Extra Elements: At least ONE Par 3 greater than 230 yards (#11) At least THREE par 4’s under 400 yards (#2, #10, #14, #16) At least ONE hole with elevation change equal to or greater than 125 feet (#7)
If you're recording/streaming while playing the course please leave a link to the video/vod here! I would love to see how everybody plays it!

Played this afternoon and really enjoyed my round - love the autumn theme when done well and you managed some stunning looks into the sunlight on a few holes. There was also a nice range of different par fours. My favourite was the 6th, which I just thought looked stunning. Finished -9 as well which helped, but it was just a properly enjoyable round (would have done better, but for the baby slamming his hand into the controller as I hit my approach into 18...). I can see lots of players on CC really enjoying this.
Good job and best of luck with the contest!

And I find it interesting you liked #6 that much as I would’ve listed it as one of my weaker holes visually. But I did really try and vary the types of par 4’s so I’m glad you enjoyed it!
