Okay I get that the upper echelon guys are probably strong everywhere but I know for me personally my putting is my strongest point, in particular from 20 foot and out.
If there was a “Foot of Putts made” stat each week I’d be right up there consistently id assume, in CC-B at least.
I’m curious what everyone else’s strongest asset is? What can you just rely on to be there in the clutch moments?

Besides driving which is pretty consistent I can't think of any ONE area. I could say putting but I think most people would say that just because you can tell what success really is. I would say LAG putts from 30 to 80 feet would be my forte' I can always be withen 3 feet on a lag. SADLY I have a lot of practice LOL

Definitely putting for me as well. I've stuck with the old BoomBoom approach and it rarely lets me down. According to the stats, last week in CC-A I was 188th in driving accuracy, 7th in putting and tied 2nd overall.

good interesting topic.
Oddly-
my strengths seem to be long putting, short chipping and wind/distance.
On putts that are over 30-40 ft, I can usually put them into within 2-3 ft of the hole, so I can make the next one. With chipping, I can do the short 9-13 ft just off the green chip shot and put the ball within a foot usually. These two things are absolutely saving me from my main weakness which I will mention later.
Other strength is judging wind, and distance. I actually play better in the high winds, than I do with no wind.
My main weakness is tempo tempo tempo. I lose most of my strokes because I cannot consistently get the tempo right. Most of my bad scores are caused by hitting very slows at least several times per round, usually on par 3's where I need a good shot. But I think this is caused by bad internet and bandwidth problems.
My main other weakness is short putts on a slope. If there is a putt that is 10 ft or less, and the hole is on a side breaking slope, or there is a slope involved, it will take me two strokes 90% of the time. Oh I can nail the thing from 10-20 ft out, but between 10 and 3 feet out, for some reason gives me all kinds of problems. LOL

Definitely NOT my putting. Probably my strength is with my recovery shots. Seldom make a bad situation worse, and usually end up in decent position.

Driving and putting.
I’m sure the top tier guys know what they are strong/weak at too. It’s just relative to their competition

Probably my pitching and flop shots are my strong points, I seem to get the tempo right for them more often than not.

I rarely ever have tempo issues...I can get P/P and a fairly straight line almost every time. My judge of distance in wind and elevation is what gets me into trouble. I’d say my chipping is usually fairly good where I can get up and down frequently from any lie

Like real golf I know what is going to happen after the first hole. But my strengths would be the last hole.
