I tried Scouts Cove (the first recommended one!) last night. bodieplays you did a great job! No reason this course should only have 39 plays, that I can see. When I started, the green and pin location on the first hole was really hard, and I thought oh no, this is one of 'those' courses. But I continued playing and you proved me wrong! That was just a really hard green to wake you up and get you going, they all aren't like that! The course is aesthetically pleasing. I thought it was very challenging, but I was also playing with very high winds, which totally made the strategy different than I bet you expected on some holes. This is the type of challenging course I like, ones that are a challenge without making you think, oh the designer put this here for no other reason than to make it hard. The course is deceptively hard and makes you think.
Well done! Give this course a try, you guys!

Thank you for the kind words! Yes it is tough to create a course and have an idea of how it will be attacked only to have a 13 mph wind haha. But thats another fun aspect of the game. Thanks to lessthanbread for putting it on the map and his kind words as well! Maybe some other courses of mine will come up on the list! Cheers guys

lessthanbread hi, mate. Just to say that, working on the list, today i saw a course named yellowknife. I had still no time to try it, but it seems a really interesting course and has very few plays. They are 3 versions of this course ( a tour version and one named "2019 edition"), but sadly i can't find any thread with some explanation to understand what kind of difference they have. Try it, if you think it can be good enough to be a Bread's Crumb And good luck with your work, as usual.

I do have one lined up for this week so I should be able to get to some more of the recommendations on here for the week after.

Any thoughts to my suggestion of Pine Ridge GC WPG MB? IMO, this course fits the bill. Be interesting to hear your thoughts on this RCR I found a few different courses with similar names. The one I believe your are referring to is “Pine Ridge G&CC - WPG MB” by CrazyJay71. This course has almost 2,500 plays. That’s pretty high for consideration in this thread. Ideally I’d like to feature courses that have been released for over 1 month and have less than 100 plays. Thank you for suggesting though, if I’m looking at the wrong course please let me know.

Yep that is the correct course. Wow!... I did not realize it had that many plays! Thanks for looking into it. Did you happen to play it?

I have not played it. Will put it on my list though. Really busy trying to get some designing time on my current project and doing a couple new designer course reviews. Stay tuned for the next recommendation for Bread’s Crumbs. Really impressive course I just found

I ported Idlewild South Memorial to PS4 almost a year ago.
It has a stunning 4 plays.
Four.
Go me lol.
It’s the reason I retired from creating courses for public consumption. At some point one has to realize they don’t have a talent for it and just leave it to the experts.

At some point one has to realize they don’t have a talent for it and just leave it to the experts. I can understand your delusion. Working on that list, is every day more clear and almost unbelievable, about how many good courses are absolutely underplayed and underrated. About almost 1000 courses accepted in the TGCT2019 list, almost the half are not handicapped. And i believe that more or less 150 have less then 100 plays. They are really impressive numbers. And it has to be really sad, to see your hard work and the time you spended with passion so unappreciated, and you have every right to be sick and tired of this situation, but if this can help you a bit, i noticed that this thing it happens (but less frequently, this is true) also to some course made by the "Big Names" into our great designers community. Sadly we are a little community of players, related to the enormous amount of courses published every day. Is simply impossible to play every course and so it's easy that some really good (if not great) course passes away just unnoticed. The wish of almost everyone to play always new courses make the rest. I really hope that the efforts of guys like lessthanbread (but i know they are a good number, the guys that in their societies tries to run underplayed courses), it could be helpful to every underrated designer. Please be patient..and if you love to create courses, don't quit. If we work together, we can help to make things better. Not perfect, i know it. But better.

This is becoming one of my favorite threads, after only two courses. lol

I was player number 15 last night on Rusty Ship. You guys really need to give this one a go, its a great course!!
Hole 15 almost threw me a loop, I almost found myself going for the wrong green. haha.
But Hole 17 was my favorite, and that one would come close to being in my top holes of all time. The design of the hole, with the general aesthetics of the land, all taken together with the theme/name of the entire course. Wow, great job, prettygreen1 !!

Pretty much summed up the mission of Bread’s Crumbs. I’ll be sure to check out Idlewild. Don’t give up designing. One thing I think really helps quality courses get noticed is when the designer markets the hell out of their course. Post pictures in the best lighting, write a course book, even make up a cheesy backstory to the course. Anything to get it noticed

Thanks for the support and the shout out to Rusty Ship. I think it’s great when players come back here to give testimonials on these recommendations, makes them look more appealing if others give them praise besides just me.
