I know it. for my list i must read the thread of every course. I suggested it just cause i believe they are required all kind of courses with few plays, not just fictional courses. But in fact i'm not sure 👀 But that course seems a beauty, anyway. It's a shame that it have less then 180 plays, if i remember well. Also,i played some hour ago Molokai, a ported course used in the tour some year ago. Other very clever course with few plays ( in tgct2019, at least). It's a joy to discover how much nice looking and solid courses we have. It's beautiful. Sure RCRs will work for this as well. Tremendous amount of effort and attention to detail on those. Well done ones usually get noticed on their own just fine though. I wouldn’t called 180 plays bad, especially if the designer didn’t post anything about it. You're right, actually. 180+ plays is not bad at all in any case. My bad, cause i started with the idea that every good course not handicapped just deserves more plays. About this, maybe it should be better if, instead to check just when a course is handicapped or not, in my list i could find a way to indicate those courses really underplayed. I decided to simply check/uncheck a cell when a course is/is not handicapped just cause i know that is absolutely impossible to update these numbers properly in a list..but it could be a good idea to indicate in some way at least those courses with...maybe 100 plays? I'll think about a solution. EDIT : i'm trying to do this. ✔ = handicapped course ✔✔ = handicapped course,1000+plays ✔✔✔ = handicapped course,5000+plays X = not handicapped course XX = courses with less then 200 plays XXX = courses with less then 100 plays It's not a superclever idea, i know this, but at least it can help to find with not difficulties those courses that "needs" some play. I'll share it here, it could help in your research, but i still need time to adjust everything. (and to complete at least the handicap column. I've checked 350 courses on almost 1000)

Just did the math: This is from the Course Designer List on TGC Tours using the “Approved” “Tour Worthy” and “On Tour” counts. Keep in mind this includes all 3 TGC games. This data is current as of June 4, 2019 at approximately 1:00 pm Central Time. Total courses approved on TGCT: 5,588 Tour Worthy courses: 2,134 On Tour courses: 915 38% of approved courses have been certified “Tour Worthy”. 43% of Tour Worthy courses have been chosen for Tour play. Working backwards, 16% of all courses approved on TGC Tours have been chosen for Tour play. Maybe not super useful information but just some stats for fun Unfortunately, the TGCT Course Database is less than reliable when it comes to labeling courses On Tour or Tour Worthy. Ah. Oh well. Haha

lessthanbread docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/13lM3XROqKEtgYHgNZXzaSDjNT6L8xnYzRxLhoG-mn38/edit#gid=0This is a "test " version of my list. Is far to be finished, i know it, but i hope it could be useful for your work, cause it allows to check easily if a course is handicapped or not till the course n 350. (I'll complete this column in these days, if i have some time to spend on it). No one can modify the list, i think, (and i hope so, cause i wish first to complete all the essential things, then my idea is to give free access to anyone) but i hope that the visualization per alphabetical order of every column it works properly. If you see problems, great errors or if you have suggestion, you can tell me what you want. (sorry for the color's choice, but is the best compromize i found between a not too stressing one while i read and the need to evidentiate the not changeable colored angle that indicates the comments on some cell) Good work. EDIT : i have a question. In the beginning, my idea was to put into this list also the handicap rating of every course, it could be useful for guys who wants to try some specific difficult course, but... Are these two numbers fixed when a course is handicapped or they are changing after every game played? Cause actually is for this doubt that i quit this idea...but if the number stays always the same (as it happens for the stroke index of every hole, if i have understanded it well?) i'll fix this thing easily (it would be just a matter of time,i mean). And, by the way, what do you think about the hdc column? It works better just checking if a course is handicapped or not, or it could be a good idea to use the system i explained before (from xxx to ✔✔✔) ? I'm open to every suggestion, if someone have a better idea...on this and on other sides of the whole thing, i mean.

Just for the record, my Briarcliff Hollow is only an "inspired by" course, not an actual rcr. The new version will be 100 times better.

You have a question mark next to USA/CAN for the location of my Northwood Golf Club TGC. Every hole on the course has been inspired by real life holes I have played in England and Wales, so take your pick out of those.

linkslover I smile just cause my plan, when i'll complete the work about the handicap column,is exactly to search EVERY designer and to ask who is interested to specify a country and who just wants to leave his course "everywhere". All those "?" means nothing, in fact. My idea is that only a designer can really knows where his course can be sited. Thank you, anyway. But is just a tool. And is not finished yet. Anyway..do you have some answer to my question? Do you know if the handicap rating is done when a course is handicapped or if it changes following the player's scores? And..obviously, if you (or anyone else,is clear), checking that list find something that seems to be really wrong..or if you think is possible to do it something better,i csn be just happy for some critic feedback. When i'll complete the list, i'll share it " officially" on a thread. This is just a preview to help the bread's crumb research

Anyway..do you have some answer to my question? Do you know if the handicap rating is done when a course is handicapped or if it changes following the player's scores? I know it is worked out based on everybody's scores, but I have no idea how it is worked out.

Any thoughts to my suggestion of Pine Ridge GC WPG MB? IMO, this course fits the bill. Be interesting to hear your thoughts on this RCR

I decided to do this thing mainly to highlight the courses with too few plays and to help a bit the work of the schedulers of societies. Sadly i have some issue with the game and i'm uninstalling and reinstalling both steam and the game without find a solution and i'm wasting a lot of time for this reason. I hope to release an "official" version soon. (or not too late, at least )

I could self recommend you two course from 2019 Joe. Sure! What do you have? It was a subtle hint to my courses Angus Bay International and Northwood Golf Club TGC (or the CGS version if you prefer stands and spectators which has been used by the Casuals Society).
