EDIT: The Loops CC (Tour) is now open. During rangering for this course, lag was discovered, and I went back and fixed it up. Happy to have this course on tour soon! This course is carved through a river valley, and its two 9's "Loop" out and back down each direction of the river. You will find tall pines, lots of water and even a tennis center here. The challenge of the course is right in front of you, there are no blind tee shots or castles in the way (who would do that?!). There are 3 tees, meant for the 3 club sets in TGC (but pro clubs are fine from the back tees as well and recommended for society rounds for a challenge), and 4 pins. Pins 1 and 2 are getable, pins 3 and 4 are equally challenging. This one took a long time and the plant meter is full. Hit em straight and you should score very well here! Good luck! P.S. if karma4u could work his PC magic I would be very greatful. Never think I end up getting the best of my own courses with screen shots.

This is a phenomenal course that I highly recommend playing. It's the total package of beautiful, technically clean, creative, realistic, and most importantly fun. Provided a really good challenge that never felt unfair and allowed for plenty of scoring opportunities. And there's some really awesome, understated creativity in the surroundings. The entryway to the golf course was brilliant. I will most certainly be playing more rounds here.

A course that should be enjoyed based on the value of the playability of shots, without some of the "extra" bits you might be used to from other courses which prioritize visuals - but at the end of the day, we're playing the game, not the look, and this one is very well done. Congrats on the great build here!

Congrats on the great build here! Karma, you are a wizard. Smedley, thank you sir! Spent a lot of time on Tantallon building the castle and coast and "extras." Spent a lot of time on The Loops building the course. Hoping it shows. Glad you and coasterroyalty enjoyed it.

I really like your tree placement on this one. On 5, I pulled my drive a bit (okay, quite a bit with a VF) but was still in the fairway. Usually a ball in the fairway means all is well, but here I had to hit a punch shot through a small gap in the trees to get to the green. I very rarely have to hit punch shots in this game. Loved it. On 6, I hit the fairway but was on the right side, and had to hit a soft fade to get on the green in 2. The course is fair, but challenging. A birdie feels satisfying, not just throwing darts in there. There are plenty of hero shots where you can make birdie/eagle, but also end up in the water if you screw up. My second round (on pin 3) was quite interesting. My scorecard looked like a traffic light (-10; 1 double bogie, 2 bogies, 4 pars, 8 birdies, 3 eagles). Kudos on making a course that is fun to play and offers some interesting and satisfying shots.

Congrats on the great build here! You said this much better than my fumbling words were able to express. Playability is a great word to describe this course. It's just a ton of fun to play, which not too many courses manage to accomplish.

I'll be doing a play-through and critique of this course tonight (by request) at 8:30pm EST on my Twitch channel. Based on the pictures, I'm not sure there's much to say, but I've been asked to really be thorough, so we'll see what's there. Come join in!
