We needed a better thumbnail than my crotch I vote this should be Fadge's new avatar.......it would go into joint first place with Larry's if so Nah, mine would still be #1 because of the added fantasy value of picturing her playing TGC19 in your bedroom. That squatting lady is outdoors, playing real golf in what appears to be a professional modelling shot, not nearly as enticing to us miserable gamer types. Also she's somewhere sunny - that alone ruins any fantasy potential for UK TGCTers!

None of them relate to my bedroom, TGCT or miserable weather.

Regarding a 1-handed swing - I can play 1 handed with the way I hold my controller, which as far as I'm aware is just the regular way you hold a controller, but I do have my patented lap pillow that I rest the controller on. The controller doesn't just sit on the pillow, I'm still holding it in my hand normally, but the pillow allows me to rest my forearms/hands against it, which has always been the way I've played golf games for some weird reason. Anyway, I could just hold the controller in my right hand, put my thumb on the stick, and swing normal - and have done on plenty of occasions when I was on the phone, or taking a drink or something. The chess piece method, 1 handed, would be tough, I imagine.
P.s. Fadge I think I'm wearing those pants today lol

Been out and bought a rubber mat it makes the pad a whole lot more stable so I’m able to swing forward so the stick hits the plastic at the top, tbh it doesn’t make much difference direction wise, still sometimes the line doesn’t go all the way up so let’s see if it makes a difference

Hope it makes a difference for you providing everything else you do is by the book. It’s soughta strange to me tho how the half line shots don’t give ya slow downswings a lot.

I was thinking some Velcro would work well too. Sew a patch on your favorite gaming pants and put the sticky back type on the bottom of the controller. Just an idea. Hell I might try it!

I couldn't imagine resting my controller on my thigh/pillow/pad, etc. But whatever works! Then again I'm guessing I am probably one of the few that swings with the right stick joystick with my right thumb only. Definitely a lot of ways to skin a cat!

I cut the left thumb cover away a little as it could sometimes restrict the movement, which is the opposite of what we are trying to achieve here If you're willing to sit in your boxers and put the pad on your leg with that type of cover, it wouldn't slip at all, and you'd look quite cool into the bargain I played Aces last night and used one hand for the whole round. Pad didn't fall off my leg and I had 3 swings that didn't go right to the top. As I mentioned earlier, I think with this cover, and a couple of elastic bands looped together, you could have a set up that would be very stable. Hope this helps you to conform on a regular basis FWIW - I hold the pad with right hand, rested on my right thigh, and swing with my left hand, left stick, chess piece. Sometimes go back to left thumb on left stick in times of desperation!

The pillow just makes it so I'm not holding the controller freely in the air without any stabilizing force, but really it's just more comfortable lol
