Hello again my old friend the WIP section, my second course is now under construction. Long way to go, but the plan is to have this one released in June. That way I can concentrate fully on my Team Sindre contest course for the "Dream Team" competition. I am finding myself bouncing back and forth between the two courses. I need to stop that and just focus on one I think so I am posting this WIP as motivation to just get it done already. This course will have two 9's "loop" around a river system. The club also features a tennis center stadium which hosts semi-pro events from time to time...

Haha that tennis centre is brilliant. Love the look of the par three second and will follow closely

Driveable par 4 4th hole here, following a long 3rd hole. The fairway feeds shots in from left to right and downhill into the green. Should be a very fun "half-par" hole here for match play and one that tournament winners would eagle at least once over the course of 4 rounds. Long par 4 5th hole is next and you can see the choice off the tee. If you play safe to the right you will have a 5 iron or longer into the green, or you can take your chances left through a line in the trees and over a bunker and you will be rewarded with a 7 or 8 iron in. A look at the 5th green from across the river. The aggressive shot off the tee, while a shorter iron, still has to contend with the green side bunkers, where as the longer approach from the safe side of the fairway is more open.

We are having fun now. Par 3 7th hole. Edit: When I bother to sketch out a hole on paper (which is rare) it comes out looking like a stick figure horse compared to most of you designers whose drawings blow me away. Quick comparison of me starting the left side of the horse... versus guys like dylanbronson on the right side of the horse...

But this is the idea I was going with. Luckily the designer isn't an Open Street Map of my white piece of paper... Quick comparison of me on the left... versus guys like TannerBronson on the right... I actually have some sketches done that I can show but I donβt think that would be nice to crush your dreams like that. π€£π Looks great, lad. Keep it up.

But, but, but I just wanted to spend my morning trying to finish my course! But ever since I finally played Tantallon I've really been looking forward to this beauty. I'm only 3 holes in so far but loving it, despite my bizarre putting. I left my birdie putt about 25 freaking feet short on 2, the somehow made up for it by sinking the double breaking 1 foot downhill par putt. Then botched an 8 foot birdie putt on 3. Go figure. But it's gorgeous so far. And I'm guessing those rock formations in the water in front of the first tee that vaguely combine a T and L are a course logo? Nice touch. I'll give a fuller review in the completed course thread when I'm done, but awesome stuff so far.
Quick edit to add: *@ putting today. I 3 putted from inside 10 feet on 4 so threw the flatstick away and played the slope perfect for a 200+ yard eagle on 5. Sorry, no more play-by-play from me, but having a very fun round.
