As Mayday was closing the contest door, Staypuft rams through the door, flicks everybody off, and slams the door shut!

Another really superb course Matt! Great look & feel to it. Layout is really nice. I have to say I thought I was going to be put off a bit by the abundance of stands but they really feel in place for this track.
Also thought hole 9 was a bit odd at 1st with a pitch shot off the tee until I reached the 10th tee.....WoW....then it made sense & actually works well here & for video golf! Really nicely done man & good luck in the contest! Always enjoy your designs!

Only made it through eight holes on the day one settings before the baby became inconsolable. I'll try to go again tomorrow, but I love the look off the tees. Bunkering is class throughout - every tee shot on the first four holes required a lot of thought with the wind conditions, bunkering and angled fairways, so great job there! The greens were suitably tricky as well, funnelling away a couple of decent-looking shots, so well set up for a US Open . Look forward to finishing it tomorrow.

Feels like I'm single-handedly bumping this thread for you, but finally managed to get the round completed this morning. As I said last post, I really liked the challenge off the tees and the greens were fair but challenging - you just had to put it in the right spots, which I didn't do... Awful tempo and managed just +4 with hard-earned birdies on 2 and 17. My favourite part was holes 9 and 10 and you are a genius with that pairing - simply quality and didn't feel forced. 17 and 18 a good finishing pair as well and it showed that you'd thought a lot about the pace and routing of the round. Will play again with a couple of the different days' settings, but I really enjoyed. Best of luck

Yet another fantastic entry into this contest. Hats off. Super course. Loved it all but particularly those beautiful Par 3s. Good luck in the competition.

Thank you guys so much for the comments and plays. I did a few things I've never done before with this course, so it's good to know there's nothing jarringly bad 😁 And yes I always like to give the course a bit of a memorable "hook", and on this one it's for sure the 90 yd 9th followed by the 710 yd 10th. I imagine having to chug a couple beers at the turn before taking that one on.

An instant classic! The 5th is probably my favourite of several memorable ones - it'll look brilliant in tournament mode with those stands full of people on the left-hand side. Loved the 9th and 10th pairing, and it'll be interesting to see where the latter one ranks in terms of the toughest holes, I reckon, even though it's a par 5. Really enjoyed the closing three holes also - all in all it's definitely a course I want to play again soon, great job!

Here's my playthrough Matt. You definitely got me on a few holes, but I felt I made my way around there OK. Had to laugh about holes 10 & 16, especially given some of the ideas that you, MattF & I discussed in making Cali, which leaked into this design . Good luck in the contest!

Really well done Matt. Great variety of holes and yardages, made it a lot of fun. Par 3 that’s essentially a long pitch followed by a beast of a par 5. Then a par 3 that’s a driver into the wind, followed by a driveable par 4, just to mention a couple. Real fun to play a course that’s such a good mix of shots into the greens. Nice work.
