So happy I can put that laggy piece of trash pick of a course in my rearview. Put up respectable scores but hard to be focused when the ridiculousness of the course blinds one from properly playing. Beware Ashton, but as the warrior poet Marvin Lee Aday warned, 'Objects in the Rear View Mirror Might Be Closer Than They Are'. ( sid snott I think you'll appreciate that one)

Round 1 Match 2 Four ball better ball
Hunter Butler (66) & Nate Myers (67) vs Leon Anderson (62) & Greg McMillan (71)
Amidst some commotion, a ruddy faced, out of breath Nate Myers pushed his way through the crowds around the first tee. The contents of his golf bag spilling onto the course in his rush and in a tour first, he presented a note from his mother asking the Dirtbag League to excuse his tardiness but the car wouldn't start this morning and it wasn't really his fault.
Like a caged tiger Leon proved that indeed men do thunder when they come from a Land Down Under. His opening birdie put the Rest of the World pairing one up. The second was halved in birdie before the Americans squared the match with birdies on the par 5 3rd hole. Nate and Leon matched each other's birdies on the next two before Hunter birdied six to give them the advantage. The RoWers hit back with another Leon birdie on seven before Greg introduced himself to the match with a birdie on 8. With everyone parring the ninth the match turned for home finely balanced, one up to the RoWers.
The 10th witnessed yet another Anderson birdie which was cancelled out by Hunters reply on the 12th. With Hunter in the hole for birdie on the tricky par 3 13th, and Leon missing his putt, the sadly out of form McMillan sank his birdie for the half. Taking advantage of this rare moment of clarity Anderson birdied the next to put them two up and four to play. The Americans dug deep and both of them birdied both of the next two holes but in true better ball dovetailing, the RoWers managed one each for halves. Dormie 2 on the 17th somehow Leon found a birdie and when he found trouble on the closing hole the erratic Greg matched Nate's par to close out the match winning by three holes.
A very decent match, only settled late on, McMillan could only thank the gods of the blind draw for pairing him with the red hot Aussie. Hopefully a visit to the garage will avoid a repeat of the car problems for tomorrow's 4 ball total score round.
Anderson & McMillan beat Butler & Myers 6 pts to 3 pts Leon Anderson (2pts) Greg McMillan (2pts) Ashton Fox (0pts) Kevin McGuire (0pts)
Awesome report there partner.

Here's my scorecard for the last round, I'm hoping this will be enough to either get me points or a green mark. Another slow start and I thought I was going for another -6 round, when I got to -8 I thought that'll do me. But the 2 birdies on the last 2 holes topped off a great round. This course has had its detractors and I can see why, but I seem to like some courses where others struggle. Anyway I was sporting some of my newly launched Wolf Pack clothing range, available at the clubhouses at all the 'Wolf Series' courses.

Any math geniuses out there? I need help with the blind draws. I keep coming up with too many duplications. I am using a random # generator and it is not giving me the results I seek.
Where is our resident nerd when we need him?
Did anyone give Greg the day off?

Did anyone give Greg the day off? Do you want me to do it this week? I'll just do one draw and if there's some teams the same we can just go with it.

I just talked with Greg. He told me he had some kind of coins they use for his real life golf pairings that we could use. He has an issue he is dealing with so I did not want take up his time. Send him a message if you will and let him know. Thanks.

i haven't got time to test and see if this will work, i have feeling it may not, but is this what you're after? www.fixturelist.com/createlistin "team name" you can put a pairing, and it will ensure they don't come out again, i think. the issue, i think tho, is the pairings don't stay the same? not sure how to get around that...

As the unofficial representative of OSAGAT (Old School Analogue Golf Administration Technology) I can sort this relatively easily I've just got a bit of an issue this week in the Real World beyond pixel golf.

Hey guys. Going to do my best to get my final two rounds completed tomorrow evening, but it may not happen until later Saturday night. Work has been a bit of a b%& this week, plus 3 west coast starts at 9pm central time for my Jets game has been leaving me somewhat fatigued. But they will get done.

Shouldn't be a problem Kevin, Digs hasn't started his first round yet.

I'd probably use something like that except just have it as single players, then just use the 2 players drawn against each other as a team. Then just match them up against the next one and just rinse and repeat.
