My preliminary thoughts are 4 teams with 4 players each. They will be chosen by the top 2 finishers in each league. The top 4 will captain their team each week with respect to matchups etc. Just running things through my head at the moment. We can add more updates etc, but I will need at least one person to help me. sid snott Paul will reveal the matchups as they are given to him from the captains. I do not know about the # of societies one can be in. I do not have the time to do that. Someone else can answer that question. Playing in the Dirtbag league would not affect that number.

like the captain idea.
the number of socities you can play in would have the effect that rounds played would no longer be "official" if you don't play them in the game's online society? How would it be ensured you are playing in the same conditions as everyone else if you just play the rounds off-line instead of within the online society?
Anyway, yes, don't waste time on my little issue bill. if i need to leave one of the online socities i am in to remain in dirtbags, i will! I'll ask one of the pro tour guys how they do it...

You can be a member of ten societies now if your in the CC-Pro society that covers everyone from A to D

Something I did before was called a state battle where you played on the team from the state you live in. You kept those partners the whole way through. It really built comradery. In this league, you could pick some arbitrary way of matching partners up. It'd be really neat if partners were on the same system so they could play with their partner or with their ghost.
Just a suggestion.

I will present this for your comments since some of you are interested. Just my thoughts, not set in stone by any means.
The four captains chose their teams in an order to be determined later. The teams remain the same for the season.
EXAMPLE: Avery is a captain #1 and he chose Hunter, Simon and Les Leon K is team captain #2 and he chose Bill, Pat and Nate
Week #1: Team #1 Avery reveals his teams to Paul as Partners group 1 Hunter and Simon, and and Partners group 2 Avery and Les. He does not know what team #2 pairing are.
Team # 2 is playing Team #1 the first week. Leon determines the pairs he wants to send out and sends to Paul. He does not know the above pairings from Team #1. He sets his partners as Leon and Pat as partners group 1 and Bill and Nate as group 2.
So week one match has team #1 Hunter and Simon against team # 2 Leon and Pat in one matchup. Team #1 Avery and Les would take on team # 2 Bill and Nate in the second match. Team captains of 3 and 4 would do the same
The four captains would have a responsibility to get their teams to Paul by Saturday afternoon or evening.
A six week season with each team playing the others twice.
It seems complicated, but it really is simple. Points won would be determined later if you guys like this. We would still have the 'big match reveal' each week. Comments or suggestions?

I'll be dropping out for next season as I'm not really enjoying the game at the moment. I'd like to be able to skip a week or try out master clubs without letting others down. So I'd like to thank Bill for having me and everyone else who contributed to this season.

Celtic Wolf , we enjoyed having you as a member and I appreciated the time you gave me and the league. I am not sure the guys know how much time and effort goes into this. Good luck as you make your way up TGCT. Come by and say hello whenever you want as we all will miss you. As you are still here for a few more weeks, please feel free to share ideas or suggestions about Season 3 if you want.

Hi guys looks like I haven’t moved with my -29 in the promo event kind of makes you think why do I bother. I thought it might have been good enough to move me up at least on level.

Since I didn't move out of CC-Pro (Or CC-C for that matter), I'm in on Season 3.

I've moved up to euro! The scoring is insane up there, not sure I'll last long. Think I can survive in web...
I've started practicing last few days with no MPH on the wind meter, that's an adjustment. Not getting as close on approaches seems to have magnified my hot/cold putter issues too.
I've played my first round for dirtbags, I might switch back to mph on for those.
Bill would you rather I PM my scorecards or post in thread?
