I always assumed those on pga/euro/web just played those rounds for dirtbags?! Do you just stay in this society AND your actual tour society? And tgct.com knows your actual tour society?

Dirtbag weekly
In a very busy week in TGC Tours, the Dirtbags shown brightly in the promo event. Many of the league members are expected to be 'moving on up'.
With 2 weeks to go, pressure is mounting as players still have their sights on a top 2 finish. Who will claim the coveted title of Dirtbag season 2 champion? The league is proving to be extremely strong as evidenced by the leaderboards accross cc-pro and beyond.
I am seeing Avery and Leon K holding on to the top spots but I see a hard fought battle still for second place in both divisions. Possible spoilers coming out the pack might be Ashton in the NA division and Simon in the ROW although both have good players ahead of them. They will need help. Avery, the Season one champion will be hard to beat.
Congrats to Ashton as the medalist this week with a great score of -47. Bill came in 2nd with a -37.
The ROW total under par for the season is 1246 while the NA is gaining with 1001.
The competitive nature of the league keeps getting better as ALL 16 players scored points last week. (first time this has happened) Eleven of the 16 members of the 'league' shot -30 or better last week, with the other 5 all over -20. Well done, Dirtbags!
Batten down the hatches for the final two weeks. Are you ready? I am.

Season 3 is still a go, but discussions will not begin until the final week of the season. With many players moving up and some just may not enjoy the Dirtbag experience, this will give everyone time to contemplate whether they have the time or want to stay in the 'pressure cooker' that is the Dirtbag league.
Things I like most about season 2 are the team battles in rounds 1 and 2 and the individual battles in 3 and 4. That will stay in some form in S3. With an idea I have, the competition and team spirit will rise to new levels.
Things I don't like is some getting 'more tougher draws' due to the nature of the blind draws. We will fix this with a new format.
I will still listen to all who have ideas about S3. It is OUR league to shape as we see fit.
I want to say thanks to all who have contributed to the season 2 success. Pat, Greg and Paul deserve special thanks.

i am absolutely IN for next season. LOVE the weekly upadte Bill, and thanks for the kind words this week, really appreciated it Maybe could do a "team results halfway update" halfway through the week? I agree with you that team and singles is a good way to do things. Also agree some super low scoring people have perhaps not been rewarded due to the way draws have worked out. Team/singles formats DO work that way IRL, but if we can find some way to balance it more, that'd be cool. I looked for some fixture drawing sites online, but none really fitted our unique requirements; i'll have another look before next season starts. Just to be clear (pretty sure this is correct,) I can stay in CC-Pro society and play those tournys for "fun," and join my new web/euro society and those will count to my tgc.com "career"? Is their a limit to how many societies you can be in? I'm also inn the DAM society...

LKeet6 Leon, each person is only in one division of TGCT. When we started the Dirtbags all 5 of us were in CC-D and we grew to 8 in S1. We moved the Dirtbags out of CC-D. As players moved up, they chose to remain Dirtbags. Right now, Avery and Digs are above CC-Pro and chose to play the extra Dirtbag rounds each week. That is why they furnish us with their scorecards. This is really not a society. That is why I said some may not chose to play the extra rounds each week to stay in our league. If you move up to Web or above, you will no longer be a part of CC-Pro. That is what is unique about the Dirtbags. We have at least one player in each division from the Euro through CC-D.

yeah, i understand that part; my questions are prompted by seeing somewhere that there is a limit to how many societies you can be in. I mean "society" not in reference to dirtbags, but in reference to the society part of the game.
I am fine with playing more rounds, i see myself as a dirtbag!
