A lot of the ones on my list are international courses, not sure if there is any correlation to LIDAR being more/less likely or reliable.

Lahinch is done, both the Old course and the Castle course. Not sure if I will publish the Castle course, but I plan on hopefully merging the OSM into the work I've already done on Lahinch and manually elevating the course. That will be more prime focus after Detroit GC, with a goal of publishing before the Irish Open. |

So I have a strange addiction to mapping courses on Google Earth so I’ll likely do a ton of these requests in my free time... I’ll be sure to send PMs once I have a course done!

My personal list (subject to updates):
Royal Melbourne (Either course) (AU)
Wolf Creek (NV)
Barnbougle (AU)
And a couple of personal requests:
Jade Dragon Snow Mountain Golf Club (China): Requested because it’s the longest course in the world and I bet I could make a lot of PGA players angry with it.
Traditions (TX) and/or Miramont (TX): Two courses in my hometown that I have had the chance to play and that I think are fantastic courses.

I got a message from PithyDoctorG asking if I was working on it, since he saw some of it done. I told him no, but that he should charge on. Not sure if that was your work he saw, or a mysterious 3rd party. Either way, hopefully he's taking on the OSM, and then the Lidar task once he finishes LACC. I preface this by saying that I fully understand the allure of using this tool to create a local favorite track.... but I'm so glad that the tool made it's way to TGCT, where courses like Cabot Cliffs, Pasatiempo, LACC, and Friars Head get taken on right away! |

was going to do Tot Hill...but the image data is making it a real pain to do well. I'm shelving that for now. Also wanted to do Askernish but I can't seem to get any lidar data on it. I found the area and looked for available tiles...but it says there aren't any.
Anyone else find it?

also I just spent time doing a few holes on Ballyneal only to find... TADA! No lidar data. Anyone else find it? Not showing any available on the NOAA site.

I have plans to do Royal Melbourne (composite course) for the presidents cup. Just trying to get a couple of other projects out of the way first. Let me know if you were going to tackle this. |
