How do you guys putt so well do you have a method or do you just wing it like me, I’m not a great putter by the way I just get occasional flashes of brilliance. Someone posted a method on here where he drops down low and looks at each line individually and uses a counting method I’ve tried it but it’s way to slow for me. I do drop down low and try and gauge how much break I’m going to get but to me it’s mostly about getting the pace right, I miss a load that finish directly behind the hole indicating that I’ve hit it a bit to hard. Everyone just uses what's best for them. For me, if I can see all the beads on a putt, regardless of distance then I rarely even adjust the view. I just watch all the beads without moving the cursor for a couple or so seconds, see my line, adjust to it and make the putt (hopefully with the right pace!). I also only adjust the cursor left or right and putt the pace by feel. I use higher views (use Y then left trigger and the stick) of the beads when putting from distance or when I need to inspect multiple speeds of beads, double breakers or multiple breaks. How consistently straight you can keep the line in the cone is vital; 1. It gives you the best result to your green reading. 2. You will see how to correct your putt reading over time if you keep missing high or low. 3. You will get the truest possible roll from the putt. Another tip if you're over 50 foot and there's no green grid is to use the lie camera and bring up the lie around your feet on the green. I also use this when I'm in between break lines and want some extra beads to help read a putt. What is yourgamertag? I'll be happy to play a round with you sometime and see if I can help. I'm sure some of the other guys will gladly give you tips on how they putt too. I'm always interested to add to my own game too! Everyday is a school day! 😉 Some good tips here Benny, notably the one where there is no green grid. My aim is to get into the top tiers and be in this top 50, but still got a long way to go. I'm not consistent enough, but when I do play well I know I can compete; just as I said, not often!

If you can play well that means you'll keep it coming more consistently the more you play. My suggestion for you is to work on putting for sure. It can save many a round if you just drop a bunch of 15-20 footers. Working from the green back to the tee will save you strokes. Don't get too discouraged by tempo issues as we all deal with that on XB1 but try to find a way to get a straight line consistently on your full swings. It won't be perfect every time but the more often you can do that, the better your feel will be with wind and hitting your spots. If you have any specific questions I don't mind trying to answer them the best I can. I definitely don't know it all but have no problem sharing knowledge I do have.

Really that's for anyone too guys. If you guys have questions you can message me directly or post in here or whatever you'd like. I'll try to get back to you as soon as I can. I don't promise to know it all because I don't for sure. But anything I can do to help guys out I'm all for. I love to see the XB1 guys compete against the other platforms and there's a bunch of good XB1 guys in all the TGCT societies. Keep it up fellas!

I probably play 15 rounds a week, though do tend to get frustrated with tempo as its thr one think I feel just ruins me. I putted well last night, but recently have just felt nothing went right. From over powering and not reading greens. If can nail more then I agree, will help with any swings that go short or long.

Nice 2nd round killahbeaz132! Shame about those 2 doubles in round 1 otherwise you'd have been nipping at the heels of the leading pack! Good luck through the rest of the playoffs mate! I still can't believe Z3NZ, nick80, zeroxxx422 and myself fell so far short of making it. Conditions were good and I thought the course was decent for both rounds to be putting up something low.

Thanks buddy! Yeah those 2 doubles were really my own fault and just me being slightly overaggressive and paying the price of some of the slopes. Not my best effort there but it's alright. Was T14 after 2 rounds so hopefully I can keep that going. I was hoping there would be more than me representing XB1 in the rest of the playoffs. All of you guys had great seasons out there on PGA competing with the best in the world. Keep honing the skills and we'll get back at it again next season! I'm going to try to finish this season strong and I'll also try to represent XB1 in the rest of the playoffs as best that I can.

On holidays with a really bad phone connexion. I finished pissed off after maybe 12 strokes in a row without a P\P. That cost me this ugly +8
Started on Challenge C on April, my goal was to reach European or Pro tour at the end of season. Now I have to improve a lot a things in my game for the next. I'll find a way...
Well play Killah (again)!!!! Good luck for playoffs Keep fighting XB1 players

Good on you man! Keep doing what you're doing and you'll keep flying up the WGR for sure! I really limped home in the final round. To be quite honest, I went out to a baseball game and had a few too many beers and got home late, so no practice round to get ready either lol. Hurt my chances of moving up more in the WGR but still playing this week in the next round. However, I'll need to be in the top 30 to make the cut and make it to the Tour Championship. That's the goal for sure as I'd love to have some XB1 representation in the final event. It's a tough task as these are the best players in the world but I definitely feel like I can make the cut here and go forward. The only reason I'm getting this far is because you guys are pushing me forward. The kind words and the battle we have on the PGA Tour and in other societies just makes me play harder. So let's keep fighting and see if we can be accounted for out there and not an afterthought! Let's keep battling!

Sorry for no more rankings up dates, as I don't think much will change during this final push. Once we get the new season we will know if TGCT will track platform rankings or not? I will then pick up the rankings again if they do not add the filter.
Congrats to a great season for all of us XBOXer's as it was always an uphill hill battle but we all overcame to a degree. Good luck to those remaining in the knockouts!!

Yes xEB50x thank you so much for this list. It's really cool for all of us to see where we stand among one another. Thanks man! I played my first round in the Playoff event last night and ended up at -11. Had a slow backswing kill me on hole 2 which ended up in the water and luckily I was able to save a bogey though. Then I picked it up a bit from there, but still had a couple swings that cost me some strokes as well. Could have been better, but I'm still in a decent position. Looks like the cut is going to be around -21 if I had to guess. I haven't looked at the second round conditions, but from the scores I'm seeing so far it seems like the score is out there. I'll see what I can do to keep us XB1 guys in the mix. Keep pushing fellas!
