I would like to apologize to the 194 non-American countries in the world for having mediocre scores this week. I hang my head in shame. Things will improve but my first week in the Ryder Cup challenge was as startling as a bucket of ice water to the face. But be forewarned Team America, in the worlds of Dr. Claw (see the Inspector Gadget cartoon), “Next time Gadget, next time!!!!!”

Day 3 Singles Match 3Brandon Gimbel V Justin Inwood The first match of the the singles matches in Day 3 seen an all CC-B clash. Inwood was 2 up after 2 thanks to a Gimbel bogey then a birdie of his own, but within 2 holes it was all square as Gimbel birdied the 3rd and Inwood's dropped shots on 4. Gimbel took the lead on the 5th with an eagle and held onto it for the next 2 holes. A birdie for Inwood on 8 pulled him level but Gimbel bettered his score on the 11th gave USA the lead. Brandon extended his lead on 12 but quickly dropped a hole back on the next hole. Then back to back birdies on 15th and 16th clinched the match for the American team. USA win 3&2After a withdrawal on match 6 the USA gain another point on the ROTW team.

Day 3 Singles Match 5Gates V Bridgen The match started with the first two holes halved before Bridgen carded a birdie to go 1 up on the 3rd. Gates response was immediate with a birdie on the 4th and stayed level through 6. Digs then birdied the 7th and halved the 8th before being brought level again as Gates birdied the 9th. Bridgen then started the back 9 with 2 birdies to put the ROTW team 2 holes up. The next 3 holes were halved but Joe's birdie on 16 then a half on 17th ensured the match was going down to the wire. With Bridgen hitting a birdie on the last he claimed the victory and a precious point for ROTW.ROTW wins 2UP

Celtic were poor CW. Hopefully they’ll be just as poor when you come to Easter road in the cup. They definitely were, should be a good game in the cup, Hibs seem to give us a tough time recently. Hopefully Mr Bottomthingy gives us a lift. Though i didn’t want NL to go.Cmon the hibees, cmon the RoTW.

Celtic Wolf can you write up all my tgc tour rounds please 🤣 I'm afraid I might be a bit busy with tour rounds, organising and promoting competitions and designing courses to be a personal reporter😂. But if we end up in the same flight we can be part of a rivalry group and I normally do write ups for mine.

It just makes my boring rounds sound more exciting than they actually were.
