We've got the scores in for 2/3 consoles, I've counted 10 rage quits so far! Well, I went back and finished my round...... so does this require a reworking of the numbers? I noticed you'd finished up! We'll make that 10 and a half rage quits then

Was looking like a decent week until that course . Saw this was to be played in one of the other societies that I play in and thought fcuk that for a game of soldiers

Had a quick dash round the courses before what appears to be a bust TGCT week. Awful tempo problems with very slow backswing rearing it's ugly head. Used to blame the game but it's definitely me. Sorted it out towards the end of the 3rd round but too late to save a set of embarrassing scores! Bandit Ridge I found a little bland, nothing particularly memorable, and probably won't revisit. Boardwalk Preserve I liked with the change from cityscape to beachscape and would probably enjoy another go without the tempo problems. Shelter Island Club was probably my favourite of the three, nice layout but the decent players I expect will tear it apart.
Just out of interest does anyone have a practice round on these RRCC courses or do you just dive straight into them? Asking for a struggling friend! lol

I find it more immersive, and while I am competitive I won't ever win a week at the Pro level. I feel like if I haven't played the course yet I explore more when it is my first round somewhere, and that has led to me appreciating more of the design elements in play.

It can be a chore to constantly play practice rounds of a specific course so I try to keep that to special events/TGCTours weekly play

That's been my view, was just interested how others approach it. Although I've struggled most weeks I've really enjoyed being part of this society and trying out courses I probably wouldn't have discovered otherwise.

Asking for a struggling friend! lol I actually tend to use RRCC rounds as a warm up for my other rounds! I can take in my surroundings and enjoy the course and kind of try to get my tempo and my putter going. Probably why I haven't scored any points yet!

Wouldn't have fancied going to Kass Mountain blind, tough enough after doing a few rounds, still undecided on the best approach to some of the holes!!

Not about anything but time, can't wait to retire and have more time to play! Probably still wouldn't practice tho.

I used to practice for TGCT rounds when I first started, then I realised life's too short! I have the odd round if I've got nothing else to play but how many times do you shoot great in practice and then have a stinker when you play for real? I've just broken 60 for the first ever time with Masters clubs at Bandit Ridge. I've no idea where that came from

How cool were those stadium sections on Boardwalk Preserve? And the 18th with that, well, boardwalk running alongside it? Another great course Playing-wise normality was resumed on the front 9, think I was +1 thru 6 and -1 at the turn, but then 7 birdies in a row on the back 9 got me to a respectable -8 for the round. -20 thru 2 courses, nosebleed territory for me!

Asking for a struggling friend! lol Last time I took a practice round for anything was for the inaugural q-school back in 2014/2015... ...and then a friend wanted to take a peek at Royal Ballylough 2019 for the promotion tourney yesterday. Come to think of it that ended a 4 year streak. New streak starts today. Thanks SAM

Since my first win in week 1 I haven't played as much RRCC as I would like due to playing so many other things. But of course as soon as I get on I shoot a double bogey on hole 1 of Bandit Ridge.. I feel a rage quit incoming

Evening all, the results for week 7 are in! It's the penultimate week of our second tournament this season, The Who Gives A Flick Invitational. I personally favourited all 3 courses this week, even though it seems we had 14 and a half rage quits on the last course! Take the unplayable people! Week 7 was played at: San Simoleon Golf Club / Delta / by David Jensen Ocean Perpetual Golf Club / Highlands / by Adam Benjamin Ave of the Giants Black / Boreal / by David Dix Results (71 Players)
1. blueorfe Bradley Garcia (PS4) -372. B.Smooth13 Justin Smedley (PC) -36 3. gavlaar124 Gavin McCabe (PS4) -35 Best RoundsSan Simolean -16 B.Smooth13 Justin Smedley (PC), gavlaar124 Gavin McCabe (PS4), jakierobo85 Jacob Robotham (PS4), shrek4475 Nigel Bowles (PS4) Ocean Perpetual -15 blueorfe Bradley Garcia (PS4), B.Smooth13 Justin Smedley (PC) Ave of the Giants -13 stallion860 Steve Dikens (PC) Tight at the top this week, with WGR1 Bradley Garcia taking his second win this season just one shot ahead of tournament leader Justin Smedley. One further shot behind them is our top Euro player, Gavin McCabe taking his second top 3 finish of the season. There are two Challenge Circuit players in the top 10 but we'll come to them in a minute, top Web player this week was daviddlee David Lee (PC) in 18th place. So the tournament is pretty close going in to the double points week 8, Justin Smedley still leads the way but a great round at Ave of the Giants from Steve Dikens has kept him in touch just 17 points back. The chasing pack is led by Euro player TAGROCKET Don Tagariello (PC) in 3rd, with a whole bunch of players just behind him with a top 3 finish in their sights. Hard not to see one of the top two taking the tournament win but we've seen stranger things happen! ProAm Results (36 Players)
1. pc17 Phil Crampton (PS4) -292. BIELSALUFC Paul Seldon (Xbox) -28 3. Crazy Croc Marc Van Niekerk (PC) -25 Best RoundsSan Simolean -13 pc17 Phil Crampton (PS4), Crazy Croc Marc Van Niekerk (PC), knothead85 Brandon Carroll (PS4) Ocean Perpetual -10 pc17 Phil Crampton (PS4), ThePheniiix Titi Vivi (PS4), maison Baz Mayes (PS4) Ave of the Giants -12 Crazy Croc Marc Van Niekerk (PC) The ProAm tournament has been blown wide open with the players in 3rd and 4th taking the top two spots this week. Phil Crampton has 3 previous top 3 finishes and now takes an overdue first win, just one shot ahead of Paul Seldon who also takes his 4th top 3 finish. Current tournament leader Marc Van Niekerk takes his 5th top 3 finish in 7 weeks a further 3 shots back in 3rd. It's been a really interesting 4-way battle in the ProAm so far this season between these 3 and verney Fabrice Pillet (PC), although hlswinger Randy Cleveland (PC) did get in amongst it this week beating Fabrice in to 5th. Marc and Fabrice are still the top two in the tournament standings going in to the final week, but Phil and Paul are now breathing down their necks after this week's points. Paul Seldon won the first tournament from 4th place going in to the final week, will history repeat itself? And...... I got some points!! Even a stopped clock tells the right time twice a day. Week 8 is still live, never too late to sign up, 3 more brilliant courses to play. Thanks as always to everybody who played this week and congrats to everyone who got a tag for any reason. Good luck in Week 8 and in the Promotion event if you're playing it. That's going to keep me busy updating the players list next week and could well shake up our ProAm leaderboard a bit.
