Wow, had myself a birdie-fest through the first 45 holes or so, but really stumbled on the final 27. Either way, it was a lot of fun to see so many putts going in the hole for once!
59-58-62-64 gives me a -27 at the cut and a -45 overall. I made a par on 4 of the par 5's in the final 27 holes, and three of them were 3-putt pars! Made my first (and only bogey) on the 68th hole.
Hoping for a top-20 this week, but either way, it's nice to finally get to watch the scoreboard on Friday and Saturday! Good luck everyone!

My tempo and line were way off today and took until the 8th or 9th hole before I finally got my swing mostly on track. Oddly however I played the front 9 a stroke better than I did the back. In the ultimate sign of just how easy this course is playing, I hit 42.9% of the fairways(easily my worst this season ) but still managed a -7. I'll probably play round 2 tomorrow.

A decent -12 & -10 to sit at -22 at the cut. Very satisfied with that, should be able to make a run at a top 25. Had a funny eerie feeling when I was at -20 coming down the stretch that I was probably near the cutline and needed to avoid giving anything back. Scores are going to be insanely low this week.

After starting the week with a 3 putt bogey played really well... The rest of the tournament to end -51(-15,-11,-14,-11) should be good enough for a decent finish.

Dude I fell asleep midway through your first round and woke up just to see your 59 score, beating me by 1 - I was like "damn what kind of horrific nightmare is this" and then realised it was reality! Kidding of course, fantastic shooting, great to see you scoring well again

ddixjr509 - please refrain from pumping more air into Tenahka 's ego! His head is big enough as it is. mind games 101... I'm planting seeds here... we're just getting started. When I played college golf- when things got going the wrong way in a tight match- asking the other guy about his figure 8 in the top of his backswing usually did the trick.

Round 2 started OK with a birdie on the second hole but that was absolutely all I got on the front 9 finishing it at -1. Fairways and greens in reg was much better than in round 1 but too many birdie putts outside of 10 feet and couldn't get any to drop. So -8 after 27 holes means my main motivation shifted to hoping to avoid a demotion mark. Finally got things rolling and nearly matched my 27 hole total over the next 9 with a -7 to be -15 at the cut. Never has a -15 at the cut felt so underwhelming as I played some horrible golf and I had better miss the cut because I totally don't deserve to play the rest of this event. I deserve a demotion mark or two but -15 sounds like it should be a good enough score to dodge those.

-11 in round 3 will probably keep me around 15-20th place. Maybe better. Conditions were defenitely tougher but not extreme. Will play last round on friday i think...Fun course we have. Like said before easy but good for a change

Crapped the bed in round 1 on the greens, 30 putts -7 and -10 for a big ole missed cut.

First two web events for me and no cut made yet lol. First event played with wrong controller for 4 rounds and ended missing cut at +6. Played solidly this go but maybe missed a few short putts to keep me missing cut at -17. On to round 3 and hopefully it’s not 3/3 on the strikes

It seems I am struggling a bit with TGC19 compared to last years game. most likely due to the fact that it is football season and i have been playing Madden and just playing the weekly tournaments with 1 practice round. Its harder to get into a good flow with my swing. Liked the course and felt i put up a good score of -38...until i realized i am barely going to make the cut....Looks like i need to start playing more haha! Went from ending in the World Tour on last years game to barely making cuts in the Web.com . A good challenge ahead to take on!

Many thanks to Dan ( hmammoth ) for selecting Dovetail Park as the 6th event of this season. Congratulations to JP Battaglia on the win & to all those that secured a promotion mark. I always enjoy reading the players comments & look forward to hopefully hosting another tournament down the line. Good luck to all the Web.com brigade for the future. Sam.
