Yep - thats not a swing mate - a flick is all it is - your problem is obvious to me. I shouldn't have posted that example... My swing is a bit different now... Meaning somewhat like that but I keep my thumb on the stick all the way to the plastic now... Still doesn't always register as a full swing most of the time... Remind me not to post stuff here when I'm in a taxi! Lol

That’s a classic flick. My swing is a push forward. My thumb doesn’t leave the controller until the ball is flying. Not saying it’s right or wrong but it gives a full line just like the swing tutorials from HB. There a video of that tutorial somewhere? Sorry is I missed it

Ill take a video of my swing tonight and send it to you. If that helps Thanks... Anything will help at this point Btw, here's my "troublesome" swing in case you've never seen it: The fact your thumb isn't on the stick after follow-through is what catches my eye in that swing...

If that isn't classified as a flick, I'm not sure what else is. For me any one that basically lets go of the controller isn't doing a full swing, you are letting the springs completely your swing so you are only doing 1/2 the swing, pulling back.

Put a post with link in shoutout box when you are going live. Have you played your rounds for TGC Tours live with this over the should view with a DS4 controller? Also do a scan of your PS4 to show no Titan One attached to it. If all looks good I would have to think if you were to even get these 18x of the same set value the admins would have no choice to let your scores pass and put all the doubters to rest. Just looking for the best solution to keep you around.

; HB has changed the way that they collect swing data now and if your swing is not showing has complete in the HUD, it sends partial or no data do TGCTours. So the API analyzes the inclomplete data and it makes you look like a robot. This is not accurate. There is nothing "incomplete". We get an accuracy value on every shot regardless of what it looks like in the HUD for you. Hi Jeff, you had posted this comment a few weeks ago in the PGA thread but I don't think there was ever a follow up:
"The Fair Play is so watered down right now that I don't think anyone should be talking about chances of being pulled being exponential".
What did you mean by this?

I meant that we have lowered our thresholds for what we deem as normal beyond what we initially anticipated we should. The gap in accuracy medians between the normal player and the elite player is now greater than it was in TGC 2 or TGC 1.

If a flick is illegal, someone can come to my house and DQ me every week (flick is a layman's term in use in these threads, there is no exact definition' btw). By the way, I play 8 rounds a week (PGA and TST) over 4 sessions at different times and days. Hope the plane tickets don't get too costly. You guys are a hoot. Hey, Doyley or SmilingGoats can I get one of those fancy charts for my TST round 2 this week? That round was an outlier score wisr and want to make sure nothing is fishy since we are okay with poking a stick at people in public forums, and then the peanut gallery here can comb it over and give their opinions and critiques of something they "can't" do themselves or look down upon. Thanks and have a nice day!

Yeah - everyone should be able to cheat and not get called out on it...
Morals, they’re not for everyone...

If HB didn’t want people to “flick”, they would’ve made sure a flick swing either didn’t register as a completed swing, or resulted in a wildly inaccurate shot.
Can you imagine all the pros complaining that Jim Furyks swing is too loopy or john Daly’s swing is too long 😂.

I haven't had takers yet... but I'm willing to do that anytime. Admins, you know anybody in Montreal that I could link up with? Btw, letting go of the stick after you hit the plastic is now considered a flick? Just asking guys.

The flick isn't illegal...but if you're allowing the controller springs to keep your swing on axis, it isn't a natural swing movement and therefore it is likely to produce unnatural results. And if you get flagged for it, then you've made your bed. Live with the consequences.
It's not like all of us can choose to use that swing method. It simply doesn't work on PC.
