Greens are TOUGH this week. Missed 2 birdie putts under 10 feet. Some pins seem as close to being on yellow slope without it turning yellow. I had Four flop shot birdies in the tourney. Hahaha. Very fortunate

So I don’t want to bash the design of this course, I think it looks great and has some interesting risk/rewards. Yet, I found it too frustrating and laughable to play with xbox masters clubs. I would have appreciated the course much more with pro clubs I believe. The margin for error on some greens is so tiny or else it rolls off down a huge hill. I can appreciate the course and think many will enjoy this style. Just drove me mad haha. Watch out next week everyone, since the end of the season is nearing and I won’t get a promo mark this week, my only chance to move up a flight before next season is to win. So I’m switching to pro clubs for the last few events. Going for -50.

Round 1 and -5 feels like a MAJOR letdown. Bogey on the par 5 6th....disgusting.
Onward.
Decided to bum rush this course, do all four in one night.
-5, -3, -3 and -9 for a -20.
Just cleared the red off, now I might get it back. SMH.
Let's get to next week now?

I originally started the course in TGC2, nearly finished it, and then ported it over to TGC19 to add the final details and then publish. I'm not nearly as good at this game as I was at TGC2, so it's a challenge out there, for sure. Sometimes you set up for what you think is a nice safe shot, and then a fast comes out of nowhere and puts you in a bad spot... Good luck with the Pro clubs out there next week.

Oh wow. It looks like I got a promo mark. I thought I missed out on a promo mark last week at -29, tied for 7th with masters with like 7 other people. I'm ranked last of the 7 due to my last round being -2.
So does the tie breakers not come into effect when people are tied in a spot?

After a bit of inconsistency to start my season in June, I finally found my form the last two weeks. I practiced this course probably five times from the black tees, and was surprised to see we teed off from the whites. Is there a way to check that in advance, by the way? Anyways... -10, -8, -3, and then finished -13 in round four. Could not miss a putt. It was incredibly awesome to play it. I personally, did not like the course, but it wasn't my least favorite. Not a huge links guy myself.

Not a BAD course for playing but the ugliest ever. I have to think the designer was as surprised as anyone else this is a tour course. A friend of the course picker? We deserve better

We deserve better I know it’s the internet, but maybe provide some specific reasons why you didn’t like it opposed to just saying it’s the worst/ugliest ever?

Well. There is one major object. The ground is a dirty brown with nothing to look at. Hate hitting the green and rolling off. It has the personality of a piece of white bread. But I’m not cutting the course more then I’m cutting down the people who decided this was one of the top 60 courses in TGC19.
The designer has his thing with his “doubtful” courses which is fine but there are so so many amazing courses to choose from.
and yea. I’m outspoken with no filter

Just to be kind - I DO appreciate all the courses created and I know the Doubtful guy has his Doubtful thing going and all courses take work. But with so many AMAZING courses that we never play . . . . . so to Griffin Ray congrats on getting picked (truly = I know I was being an ass) but I'm not a minimalist fan :-)
Love you all!
