An unfortunate WD last week because of my dumb ass. Played R3 Saturday morning and started the R4 thinking I had Sunday morning to finish. Fired up the ps4 Sunday morning ready to finish up strong and clear my only demotion mark and saw the tournament was over. I've been playing these tournaments almost every week for the last 2.5 years and can't believe I made this total brain fart. And now have 3 demotion Mark's instead of none. The only positive was that it's Masters week here in the CC and we get to play this awesome course!
Shot a great -8 in R1 but faltered in R2 with a -3 (I think). This course is just so much fun to play thinking about all the history and iconic shots that have been played here. Kudos to the designer!

I'm thinking -26 or -27 for a green this week, which means my -25 will bubble out. Will be dreaming about the creek on 13 and lipping out 8 footers tonight.
So tough to work towards 5 greens! The promotion events seem to be the best bet for moving up a level. Then again, I probably belong in CC-A anyway. Okay, enough talking to myself.

Well placed for a GPS (Green Promo Symbol) this week after a bogey free -5 in round 1 followed up with a battle cry 11 under including 2 eagles in round 2. Famous last words? Time will tell.......

Proverbial disaster round for pin 3.... -2 after bogeying hole 1, then both the 17th & 18th grrrrrrrrrr. Recovered to shoot 9 under for the final pin giving me a total of -27 for the event. Remains to be seen if that's enough to secure a GPS but I'm not confident...

To register head over to the CC World Cup Event thread and post your Leaderboard Name, Forum Name and Current Flight. This is being run in conjunction with the Promotion Event #3, so you must play in that to take part.

I feel like I'm in some serious territory now with regards to the promotion marks. I got 2 back to back when first getting into A, had 2 off weeks of middle of the road finishes and now got my 3rd at Augusta. One more puts me on the door step of getting back to Web so the pressure is really on. At this point with where my game is, I feel like it's a matter of when and not if. It will be a TGC dream come true because since TGC2, I wanted to get into a flight where all players had to use the same clubs.
Good luck to everyone this week.

My putting was terrible in the last 3 rounds at the Masters Qualifier, but that was awesome to play! Played pretty solid this week 67-60-63-65 -33 which should clear one of my red marks. I really enjoyed this course! Lot of options off the tee and a good mix of difficulty from hole to hole!

I've actually got my name on this one, CCA winner in this event 3 years ago. Seems like a lifetime!
Decided to stick with Masters, don't know why. I can cope with the tempo difficulty and get very few VFs these days, but the putting is driving me mental. Missed two very short putts in this one, and had a really bad run around the turn of 4 bogies in 6 holes. But 9 birdies for a 67, meh. Enjoyed the course, hoping I've got a low one in me over the next 3. One strike to clear, anywhere between 2nd and 100th will do!

By the way, check out the front 9 from Ross Nixon asyoudo64. That's some arras! That was a heck of a front 9. I'm sure he's a bit disappointed in himself for not taking advantage of the back 9 but I gotta imagine it's kinda hard to focus after an unconscious front.

Typical Xbox swing, never lasts for 18 holes! š Nice to see an Xbox player smash it though, even if it was only for half a round. -9 thru 6!!!!

Talk about consistency.... First round -3 followed up with 13 under for round 2. Desert theme not my favourite... fantasy desert even less & almost threw the towel in after that disastrous 1st round. Course kinda grew on me in round 2 as I tried a few different shots off the tees & got rewarded. I guess that's the beauty of this design - the options offered & the risk reward factor so well done to the designer ( nickweis ) for changing my mind.
