It's a bit quiet in here! has anyone started using Masters clubs ? I made the switch for the current Tournament and made 70, 70 and 69 for the first three rounds, round four and I'm doing much better and am 7 under at the turn, my tee shot at the 14th just rolls into the rough and my 2nd shot into the green falls short and It hits the water and I make a six and then bogey two more holes and make a birdie at the last for a 66, hopefully enough to avoid a red mark, I'm going to stick with the Masters, that front nine in round four was really enjoyable, I just need to up my course management and cut out the avoidable mistakes.

I've had a play around with Masters and did OK (not in tourney) but not for me. Like to knock out my 4 rounds in one go and with Masters takes a concentration level that I sadly don't possess!

I love looking at the leader board on Monday and seeing these wild scores. Good job team! Seeing that -15 R1 is probably the kick I needed to make me switch to Masters Clubs. Last tourney for me was absolutely horrendous and I used Pro Clubs. If I'm going to go have terrible tourneys every now and then, I might as well have them while getting used to Masters. Long story short, I will probably be living in CC-D for a while . Thanks for listening haha.

I switched to Masters also jihollow5466 at the last tournament and just missed getting a red demotion mark, my first round this week was a -1 and I had a lot of bad tempo swings and although I made a few birdies I was also making a few bogies, I started to think a mouse and Masters clubs are a bit too hard but I stuck with it and shot a 65 in round 2 and just shot a 62 in round 3 with no bogies, so a mouse and Masters can be done, it's hard because it requires 100% concentration on every shot and a solid mouse arm but I like a challenge.

Hi all, this is my first TGC event. I qualified into CC-D through Q school last week and I'm very impressed with how robust this online community is; awesome to be a part of. My first tourney definitely did not start off as well as I was hoping. Couldn't make a putt to save my life - I was over-reading everything on these greens. So despite two eagles on the card I limped in with a 3 under finish after playing ping pong around the 17th green. The good news is that felt like about as bad as I can do. Hopefully some more putts will drop over the rest of the week and I can inch my way towards the middle of the pack.

Pretty quiet in here nowadays but always plenty going on outside of this little bubble. Good luck!

Looking forward to next week Celtic Wolf, Thats three tournaments I've played with Masters clubs and I know I said I like a challenge and boy it's definitely a challenge using a mouse and Masters clubs, some of the enjoyment of playing here for me comes from competing in the top20 and gaining promotions, I started in CCam G back in September and have made it into CCpro which was my aim but I don't think I will be here long if I continue using Masters so I will probably go back to using Pro clubs, lol it's funny but I feel really bad, like I'm letting myself down but it's only a game right ?

Very nice course Mr Celtic Wolf Nicely laid out, pleasing on the eye and presents opportunities. Had a great Round 1 and 2, fell to pieces and it bit me on the arse in Round 3, leaving Round 4 to salvage what I could.
Fun week even though I ended up thinking what could have been....

Alright everyone. If you like the course this week, I just published my second course today. It is called The Loops Country Club. If you don’t like it, well, let’s everyone get a number like at the DMV and I’ll take complaints one at a time haha It’s a little different than a typical tour stop. There are double greens throughout like many Scottish courses, and you have to be sure to avoid the castle itself and it’s ruined buildings on 12 and 14. The course is laid out on real Scottish coastline and the castle still stands today as well as Bass Rock, which I built out in the ocean. So it’s an RCR of land, but IRL there is no course there. Good luck on Tantallon Castle, you can check out my completed course thread in my signature if you wanted to see more about it before teeing up this week.

Hi,
There's kind of a pit in the cliff, some 50 yds in front of the 4th green. Very hard to get out of it... If it is on purpose, that's a little sadistic I find.
Dominique
P.S. : I went in it, of(f) course.

Definitely not there on purpose. Sorry you got trapped and not dumped directly in the water. There are a few spots out there where the "unplayable" button is important. Around the ruins on hole 14 especially.

Around the ruins on hole 14 especially. Really not a big matter. In fact with my game, I'm a very efficient bad spots spotter.... Dominique

Its been a bit quiet in here lately so here's a quick report on my first three rounds at Ardoilean, I won my first greenie since moving up to D in the last tournament and hoped to get another here, I shot a 64 in the first round, a bit meh but room for improvement, in round two I struggled a bit on the front nine and started the back nine at -2, a double at the tenth and another four bogies gave me a 74, bye bye greenie, in round three I shot a 59, man if only I could find some consistency, despite my up and down scores I really like this course, it's a good test, I wonder what round four will bring
