Very well thought out course. Got to be v strategic with some of your tee shots or there will be a tree in the way! Some of your Par 4 's from the tips are pretty difficult with the wind against. Good job..ð

Having not been able to test in the wind and having played it now, I agree, some par 4's are very tough with the wrong wind...not impossible though. Thanks for the feedback Fuzzy.

Welcome, spamjavelin! Was interested in checking this one out from the pics. Gotta commend you on all the wall work and extra scenery on this course, which must have taken AGES! Overall found the course to be easy on the eye. Thought the lighting/haze combo w/ the Autumn theme worked very well and liked the use of heavy rough and bare ground to create color contrast. Also, for the most part, I felt the course had pretty good sightlines off the tees. Felt like there were some missed opportunities in terms of sculpting and creating those same sightlines for the approach shots. Not opposed to an occasional blind shot, but felt it was a little too frequent and, overall, the look of the green complexes felt a bit flat. Could have been helped some with some subtle mounds and valleys around the green to frame the shots and really draw the golfer's eye to particular features of the hole. That point's especially true for the bunkering, which by being so close to the greens really hamstrung any opportunity to get bold with their contouring. Also felt the scale of the greens got a bit away from you a bit, especially on the back 9. Appears there were a few moves, in terms of green sculpting and tree placement, that were done in an effort to protect par. Not going to say too much about that subject as every designer has their own take on difficulty. Other than those points, and the length, I found it to be a pretty straight-forward course in terms of playability. That all being said, I'm guessing that you're relatively new in the designer. A lot of what I pointed out above is a matter of refinement that comes with more time and experience. I can see from this course the eye is there, it's just a matter of fine tuning. You'll be able to find plenty of resources and people here who will be able to help you as you go along. Thanks for the round! I'm glad I gave it a spin and look forward to seeing what you come up with in the future. Happy designing!

All valid points Jeremy, thanks for the feedback and yes....that wall work took up most of the designing time! Once I have taken some time to actually play the game...I shall return to the designer.
