After extensive reconstruction of staypuft39 's TGC1 classic, "Selke Park (2018)" is now open for business. I must thank Matt for the opportunity to re-make his original course, it's a process I have a lot of fun with, and hopefully this version holds up the high standard of the original. You will remember much of the older course in this new version, as it maintains the original routing, as well as holds true to many of the original hole concepts. The course plays with normal firmness fairways and soft, but fast, greens, at a distance just over 7100 yards from the tips. Hopefully no post-publish glitches come into play, though they did with the beta - so, fingers crossed! Enjoy your rounds!

Awesome stuff. Wife leaves town tomorrow so I'll have plenty of time to check it out. For anyone wondering, I had spent a bunch of time on the skyline/city portion but had barely touched the course part before I sent it to Justin. So my contributions were limited to some skyscrapers, boardwalk work and a minor league baseball stadium for you guys to find. Very glad this course found a life for TGC 2019.

So nice to be back on Selke! Thanks guys for getting this beauty back in the game ( hope you bring it over to the next version) It seemed to play a little more difficult than I remember in TGC1 but then again I was in Euro back then and had a bit more ball control than I have now Thanks again - good job!

Yes, thank you for pointing this out, should have included it in the OP.
The base/environment here - city backdrop, 95% of the planting, general plot elevation - were all Matt. I only redid the holes - textures, coloring, brushwork, etc. - and contouring, though some holes retaining the base original sculpting because there wasn't really much more I could do than what was already in place.
Lastly - I would expect this course to play a bit harder than the original, if for nothing else than the fast greens and length on a few holes, plus "enhanced" green sculpting

Not sure I caught this one 1st. time round in TGC1. Just played the re-vamped version now and really enjoyed it. We've seen most things that can be done with the designer now but this one is a little different from the norm and really got the juices flowing again.
Particularly liked the bush planting in the gullies, and some of the tee shot choices. Managed -9 of the back tees. Top job, straight in the favourites, everyone should give it a go.

One more port completed. This one went surprisingly well, honestly didn't have to change a thing - or at least missed all of them. Think this course may actually play better in 19 than 2, but that's only after 1 quick "final check" playthrough. Enjoy your round!
Edit - forgot to tag bogeyman since he's the reason why I looked at the course today, and thankfully realized I didn't have to spend loads of time fixing port errors. Thanks!

This great course will get a run in my "Sons of Pitches" PS4 society in the next week or so. Stoked!
