-8 for R1. Itβs nice seeing your name at the top of the leader board π easily the best Iβve played this game to date, with a nice bogey free round (also a first) including a couple of sweet chip ins and a long putt. Gotta keep the consistency through the remaining 3 rounds and who knows.... I could be in contention for my first tourney win and promotion into CC-D..... π

My round 1 score isn't up on the leaderboard yet, I'm hoping it's just been missed as it's normally quite quick at updating.

Finished a disappointing -11 I'm going to play R2 tonight and see if there's any change. No luck with your rounds I think there's been a few struggling for this tournament so it might not be as bad as score as it seems.

Nightmare on R2 finishing +3. Started really well with 3 birdies from the first 3 holes, then, i started to crumble..... -5 for the tourney. Might go for R3 now! π€π»

Another good round in CC-D with a score of 63 to leave me at -15 for the tournament. I shot another bogey free round and didn't manage any eagles again. I think I'm concentrating more on my swing by checking my pad just before playing my shot. I've hit a few perfect/slows and a couple of slow/slows but keeping it in the cone. I'm still waiting on that dreadful round that crops up in the tournament, hopefully it won't be too bad.

63, 74, 64, 69 (-14) Not good enough to win it but hoping I may have a shot at an exemption. Great course and thoroughly enjoyed it. Looking forward to next weeks US Open qualifier! Bring it on!! π

Started off this week with a steady Round 1 67(-4), all fairly unremarkable stuff. 2nd Round 66(-5) was similar, but bogey-free this time.
Again in Round 3, progressing well, 5 under with two to play when the sky fell in and a hooked drive left me in severely sloped rough, which I wisely* tried to over-reach to try to make the green in two. Needless to say, hooked it even further left, down a gully and behind a tree, facing a 50ft sheer cliff-face to try to pitch out of. Took an unplayable lie and reverted to previous position, calmly shipped it back into play followed by a simple approach and two-putt for a round-ruining 7.
Finished the round at 69(-2) for -11 after three.
Decided to put the clubs away and tackle Round 4 when in better fettle.
* = stupidly.

The front 9 of my 3rd round in CC-D was more like my normal self. Started off with an eagle quickly followed by a bogey on the 2nd. Then alternatively shot birdie then bogey from 6-9 leaving me -1 through 9. The back 9 was bogey free and picked up three birdies along the way to finish -4 which has me -19 after the 3 rounds.
Trust my swing to get back to me when I have just mastered hitting a perfect/slow and missing a bit to the right. So instead of being within 7-10ft I was going past the hole by about 20ft. I can't grumble though still in with a shot of an exemption depending on which one of my game shows up.

Very disappointing 4th Round, sclaffed my way around to a 71(E) to stay on -11 for the event. Can't explain it, just one of those rounds.
