Hey guys, I think it’s about time I bring this back! For those of you who haven’t been around as long, I used to run a pro-am. It’s basically just team match play- teams of 2 play their rounds, and whoever of the two has a better score on a Hole has that count for the team. For example... Player A- 4 5 3 Player B- 4 3 5 Team- 4 3 3 Players will have one week to play two stroke play rounds, and this will happen for 4 weeks. The most important part is that you must post a picture of your scorecard. Otherwise, I have no way to know your hole-by-hole score. I think I’ve explained this how I want to, but please ask any questions if you’re confused. To sign up, please post your forum tag, platform, and tour. Players on Rocher, PGA, Euro, or Web will be placed into the pro section, and CC players will be placed in the amateur section. There will be 12 spots each, so sign up soon! Click for teams and standings7. Links at Lybster Island by Eric Nesbit White Tees/ Pin 28. Big Shanty Station G.C. by Chris Lane Green Tees/ Pin 1Deadline is next Thursday at 6:00pm EST. Disclaimer: I will finish scoring this time, haha! I know that Season 4 was never technically finished, but that was over a year ago and I seem to have lost the google spreadsheet where I was keeping the scores. I’ve already laid out a new one with formulas, so scoring will be a lot easier. Thanks!

Never got into one of these before, but now seems like a good time - sign me up.
Also - not sure if it's doable with your setup, but I've always thought scoring for events like this would be so much easier if you had a publicly editable google spreadsheet. After players complete their rounds, they post a screenshot of the scorecard, then go to the spreadsheet and enter their scores, thus taking that responsibility off your plate. Just a thought, but not sure how it would work within what you have in mind.

That’s actually something I was considering- I have some very basic formulas set up so that all I’d have to do is enter hole-by-hole scores and it does the team score for me. I know when we had the elim tournaments, Dan set it up so you could enter scores thru google forms and sync that to the spreadsheet, but I’m not sure how to set that up. Still, I’ll play around with it, and maybe get something like that set up!
