Never had an Albatross. have had 4 hole in ones and had a 183 yard eagle in round 2 this morning. Wondering what the "cut line" will be in CC-A, trying to hang on after a bad 1st round. Only -10 after 2 rounds. I feel it slipping away! Rod - no cut-line in CCA. Only exemption / clear strikes / single strike and double strike lines after all 4 rounds - same as CCB/C/D/E. I think he means the exemption line or the 50% clear strikes line which keeps him in A. But then again, it’s Rod, and you can never tell with that crazy joker 😎

Well, if you are there with an exemption it IS a cut line. If I don’t make it I’m cut back to CC-B Mark. Congrats on the Trophy

Almost had my first sub-60 round in TGCT in round 2, still good enough to get my name in the top 10. Too bad it didn't carry over to rounds 3 and 4. I had to really gut out my final round 66.

CC-C I'm sitting at -18 thru 2. Rd 1: -8 Rd 2: -10 Started off round 2 with a bang. Dropped in my 2nd Albatross in TGC2 on hole 1. This is the first one I've recorded on tour. The other was in a society. I had no expectations of that shot to even make it to the green let alone go in the cup. Always nice walking off the first green already -3 on the day. I was an eye witness to this. To paraphrase a woman I saw once: It was real, and it was spectacular!

Take a look at the scorecard below. It tells some interesting stories. Two eagles, one an ace are great! The fact that I shot 60 (my new low) but bogied the first hole is tragic. A par 5 that I 3-jacked that would have given me 59 or better. Sigh.

Thanks. As long as I don't blow up in round 4, I'll be full-time on CC-B. Heck. I could go low and get an sponsor exemption to A maybe.

If your in pro on an exemption and you finish above the exemption line while there.
Do you get another exemption or do you just keep your place in C.

You can earn an exemption while playing on an exemption. Well that's what you want to hear So theoretically you could make the tour from C in about 5 weeks. Not me just yet tho, everytime I shoot a great round I've followed it up with a very average round. It's the players who can consistently average around -11 across the 4 who stand a good chance. I average around -7 at the moment

I average around -7 at the moment Youd be surprised. Based on last weeks results, youd get the exception if you shot -7 all four rounds. The exemption line was only at -25 (lol, "only"). Double-digits under par each round will get you a lot of winning opportunities, but 6-10 under each round will get you close to an exemption, at the least, each week. The big thing to remember is that as talent increases with each tour, the courses get tougher as well.
