This Desert theme course has been published for the Fantasy Tour Theme Challenge.
The Canyon Course at Ware River is a fictional golf course set in a rocky canyon in southern Utah. This fantasy canyon is naturally carved by the river and includes steep cliffs, rock walls and large boulders. Underground springs have created shallow ponds and underground streams that can be seen in low areas of the canyon.
The golf course is a Par 72 track which includes 3 tee box options and 4 pin positions on each hole.
Red Tees: 7231 yards White Tees: 7524 yards Black Tees: 7802 yards
Holes include drastic elevation changes and several tee shot options. Some fairways are split causing players to make strategic choices.
The Clubhouse on the banks of the river sits on a historical site. The backstory reveals the rich and mysterious history of the grounds where the golf course is built. If you want to read the backstory click the link below. There are a couple "easter eggs" that can be found on the course which coincide with the story of this strange place.

This is my first published course and also my first time trying desert theme. All feedback is appreciated! I hope you all enjoy your adventure through the canyon.

Really enjoyed the course and recognize the work put in on this contest course. I felt with more polish and refinement this could of been even better which may come from additional experience. You definitely hit a lot of the points of the contest but there were some things that are a tough execution to pull off and make look natural. I am sure some of this you have already heard through some of the streams on the courses. All in all a solid entry and look forward to designs moving forward.
